Disney should really include a copy of the actual DVD in "Prince Caspian" (a la "Sleeping Beauty"
to encourage people to buy the Blu version instead.
i dont know what evry ones problem is with the digital copy. i personally love them so i can upload them to my ipod and watch them there. i dont ahve to waste ten more dollars to add it to my ipod just like five
The first severely underwhelmed me and I didn't bother with this. Maybe I'll NetFlix it when I run out of ideas for my queue.
I really hope it will be region free, just like the first one !
i think this was better than the first do you think so?
i can not wait for the dvd
i can not wait for the dvd
This was way better then the 1st movie
Single-disc for me, just like the first one.
I got a great set of bookends with the extended edition of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe... so I will wait.
It's still not The Lord of the Rings.

Fair enough, but that doesn't stop him from being an important character to the story/series. Not only is he important story-wise, but symbolically as well. To put it simply, Aslan is the representation of Jesus. The Bible allegory is not as prominent in Prince Caspian as it was in TLWW, but it's still there. The biggest one I noticed was Aslan revealed himself first to Lucy...because she had faith in him, whereas he took his time revealing himself to the others because they didn't have as much faith (or any) as Lucy did.
Roundabout way of saying it, but Aslan is important to the story and earns his place on the cover as much as any character who had twice as much screen time as he did.

I will, hopefully, be buying that one and Dark Knight for the holidays.
Terrible sequel. Nuff said.

In what way do you think they're "stupid"?
am i the only one who thinks these movies are stupid?
Highres artwork added
I hate this cover. Badger needs to be holding the flag higher then he is. And caspians hair needs to be behind his ears.
Also I'm not seeing enough earthy tones. Earthy tones people! who thought this piece of c**p up?

I Loved te movie but the Dark Knight was the best of all!
In my country I think I'm going to wait more for this DVD.

Again with the frikkin` digital copies! why the hell offer them? cut the c**p!!!!!
I actually really enjoyed this movie- and this from someone who's a huge fan of the books and was pretty let down by the first.
Although... that cover art. Why? The poster at least had an eye-catching color scheme. This one is over-lightened to the point of fluffiness.
And what's with Aslan the albino lion?
Hmm... over-lightened was the wrong choice of words. But the pastel tones aren't helping it any. Neither is the Tinkerbell pixie dust trail.

Nice boxart. Might pick it up.
wish they just put everything on one release
and stupid 3rd disc. what a waste.
buying this one for sure

Any news on the extended version? And if they do one, I hope it's also on blu-ray, unlike LWW...
I'll pass. Good movie, but my money is going for The Dark Knight on 12/12.
Prince Caspian was WAYYY better than LT**TW. Much darker, much more adventurous, much more adult. The movie is a bit long and can drag on but when you SEE the Epic battle at the end...you'll understand WHY you sat through all the things before. Plus the cinematography, the score and the costumes are great to look at. Maybe a buy for me, if i have the cash, but definetly a good movie!
I loved how much darker, epic and action-packed this film was over the first! It was a very entertaining time at the movies and I am very disappointed that not enough people went to go see it. I definitely enjoyed it more than Indiana Jones 4 and Iron Man. I will definitely be getting the 3-Disc edition although I don't know why they tampered with the great theatrical poster. The rearranged covers are OK but they should have just stuck with the poster the way it was, oh and I really am getting annoyed with these digitalcopy banners. Enough! and just list it on the bonus features list!
Prince Caspian is So MUCH BETTER than THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE !!!! i really liked that moving river...;P its an excelent JOB really

anyway enshalla i'll pick the single disc
it seems to me, they are somehow forcing us to get the digital copy, we want 2-discs special edition with no digital copy, ok! here u go, 3-DISC (digital copy included) cant really choose, either u buy the single disc, or u pay for a stupid digital copy, most of us are not even gonna use! worthless!
about the movie, i have not seen it, i did like the first one, but somehow didnt want to catch this... i'll wait for its release

The magic of Narnia returns? It was never there in the first place. I'm totally biased and will admit this but I prefer the books and loathe what Disney did. There should be a show called "Honestly Disney?" Bad bad cover art I mean honestly Disney. Hannah Montana, Honestly Disney? Digital Copies! Honestly Disney?
Prince Caspian was a turd, I can't think of a positive thing to say about it. Honestly Disney?

I will wait for the extended edition to go in line with the first one - although it was a bit long in itself. Maybe if they extend it they could make it more engaging??

Agreed, but why put them on discs, if the studios want digital copies so bad why dont they just make them downloadable online? Would leave us with a lot less headaches.

I don't know. I still liked the first one better.
Ditto on the digital copy thing. Don't care for it.

Propably just a place holder, they do that more often. They should've used original poster art for the cover, this looks a little bit way too bright and the blue doesn't really fit.

They're actually releasing two separate editions of the film on Blu-Ray; one with the digital copy and one without, so you can choose which one you want. The digital copy is in SD and DVD format both on the 3-disc DVD and on the 3-disc Blu-Ray though, so you're right; there's no point to it. On the other hand, not that many people have Blu-ray drives in their computer.

I don't want to pay extra for a digital copy i am not going to use
Really liked the first one, obsessively loved this one. Will def buy, but, only the 1 disc. Special features bore me.
Ugh...that damn digital copy is really getting on my nerves...actually, it's past that...I full out hate it...just another example that the executives just don't get it...
So I guess two-disc releases are all but extinct. What the hell?
A darker (I liked the term well before TDK, so don't start), more mature movie (loved the "for Aslan" cheer from the mentally challenged bear!!)...I'll be passing this so that I can buy the 4-disc collector's edition, which will hopefully be released sometime mid 2009...good movie, really enjoyed it.
Didn't Amazon put the 3-Disc Blu-Ray up for preorder?
I liked this pretty well, but I'm gonna go with the 1-disc. A commentary is all I need besides the film.
And that is some UGLYass artwork. It completely misses the tone of the film.

This was better then the first one but not by much. You know an extended cut will be in the future.

I liked this movie a lot. I hate Disney's covers, though, they're covered with Disney c**p, and now 'digital copy', too.
And so basically, 3-disc is the new 2-disc? NOT COOL. Now even though we're getting the same things as on a 2-disc, we have to pay for that stupid 3rd digital copy disc. What the hell!?!?!

I dont like the covers. Again - f**king digital copys are bulls**t
I'm definitely claiming this as a holiday gift.
I deliberately missed this in theaters since the first one disappointed me greatly. I'll rent, I guess.
It's about time they release this! After all of the summer movies I've seen, it feels like ages ago that I saw this in theaters. I'll definitely be picking up the 3-disc (or just putting it on my Christmas list!)
I saw the first film but missed this in theaters. But curse digital copy!
They'll actually release two blu-ray editions; one with 2 discs and one with 3. The third disc is the digital copy disc, so you can now choose if you want this or not. The 2-disc set will sell for $34.95 while the 3-disc will go for $39.98.
Too bad tehy couldnt match the Collectors Edition to the original
Still debating on buying this or waiting for the inevitable extended cut
