Its becoming common that theese days that the DVD covers are better than the Blu Ray ones. Shame
Normally I would agree but I couldn't get passed it in the movie, but I overanalyze like crazy
Loved this movie, I agree with the ones saying best of the year. It's just that good. Looks like WB is taking the easy route with the features. I bet those don't even add up to a half hour of footage. I do question this films replay value but its still excellent.
I know a lot of critics took issue with the final bit of the film, but I think a fairly reasonable reaction is that the solution to a mystery is easily the weakest part of the story. With this in mind, I'm more sympathetic to the end of Prisoners, especially since I felt the acting and direction was so strong. Also, I don't really buy into the idea that a movie is devalued if the mystery's solution can be guessed. I thought Prisoners was a really strong experience, even with the ending being somewhat foreseeable.
Really didn't like this movie, found myself overwhelmingly bored and just could not get into it at all. Plus it's twist or major plot reveal was insanely obvious making Jake's detective the most oblivious detective.
This is the best film I've seen all year. Hugh Jackman deserves an Oscar nomination for his performance. It's so viscerally and emotionally charged. So riveting. The movie is also incredibly well directed every step of the way.
Easily one of the best films of the year, definitely will pick up.
Awful lighting for the BD cover. Are they serious? Artwork criticisms aside, this pretty much lived up to the hype. Of course it wasn't as revolutionary as something like Se7en and it wasn't awful. Pretty good stuff. I just can't see myself buying this though.
One would have to go out of their way to make such a boring blu ray cover...
Preferring the DVD cover and I hate how they lightened their eyes so much.
