Warner Home Video has now revealed the artwork for the 2-disc special edition

Warner Home Video has announced a 2-disc special edition of Quo Vadis which stars Robert Taylor, Deborah Kerr, Leo Genn and Peter Ustinov. The Mervyn LeRoy directed film will be available to own from the 11th November, and should retail at $20.97. As well as undergoing a meticulous photochemical restoration, this new release also restores composer Miklos Rozsa’s magnificent overture as originally presented during the film’s premiere roadshow theatrical engagements. Extras will include an audio commentary by filmmaker/writer F.X. Feeney, and a documentary tracing the roots of the film from its start as a bestseller. A Blu-ray release will follow just in time for Easter 2009. The artwork is attached:

The banner will most likely change to say "Two-Disc Special Edition". Warner has corrected that on numerous occasions. Nice cover.
Except LOTR isn't as good. This has taken ages, nice to know it's finally getting the special edition treatment.
I think I recorded this on TV one time. that is a magnificent cover minus the title which looks way too similar to LOTR.
