Title: Ravenous
Starring: Guy Pearce
Further Details:
Scream Factory posted the following on their official Facebook page today:
Quote: *BREAKING!* We know you guys have been hungry for a new title announcement from us for awhile...so here's one to satisfy your appetite...

RAVENOUS - the 1999 cannibal film starring Guy Pearce, David Arquette and directed by Antonia Bird - will be coming to blu-ray for the first time come this June with all-new extras planned!

No other details to report at this time. But check back here in next few months for more updates on this exciting project. The original theatrical poster key art will be used as artwork (as seen here).

I have been a champion for

Ravenous

since it was first released. I genuinely think it is the most undervalued, under-seen major studio picture of my lifetime. Fox's original DVD isn't even anamorphically enhanced and they never showed any interest in moving the title to the HD format. Rumors originally pointed to Twilight Time giving

Ravenous

its limited edition treatment, but, for my money, Scream/Shout Factory is the better option, even if they aren't planning any significant new extras or a picture restoration (it's not an old enough film for the image quality to have deteriorated all the much yet).

Here is their early key art, which is based on one of the original theatrical posters, though not the more popular and more attractive 'You Are What You Eat' poster:
