I think the 5th one has the extras on it, horrible artwork but the show is pretty cool.
Awful artwork.
Why is LionsGate distributing? Shouldn't it be Warner since the show is on the CW?

It's a Disney/ABC owned show. It only airs on The CW. As for LionsGate, Disney loaned this and a hand full (Boy Meets World, 8 Simple Rules, ect.)of other shows out much like Will & Grace and almost anything from Shout.

I can clear this one up for you. For starters, you're right. The artwork doesn't do the show any justice.
1. Just because it airs on the CW doesn't mean it's produced by Warner Bros. or CBS/Paramount TV (whose parent companies co-own the CW).
2. The show is produced & distributed for television by ABC Studios (formerly Touchstone TV).
3. Disney made a deal with Lionsgate to release select shows from ABC Studios on DVD (excluding Desperate Housewives, Scrubs, Lost, etc.) Only they have rights to 2 current on-air shows like According to Jim & Reaper as well as off-the-air shows like Home Improvement, My Wife & Kids, Boy Meets World, etc.
I know it was a long way to explain it, but, that's your answer. I hope that helped you out.

You are right on all counts BUT Disney already did all the seasons of Home Improvement and had very good sales. It will stay in print from Disney unlike Seasons 1-3 of Boy Meets Word, and Season One of 8 Simple Rules which started at Disney but will have a LionsGate relauch and go past the seasons Disney already did as well.

Top show this, I'm eagerly awaiting its return.
Ray Wise is the balls.
Seriously awesome show! Seriously horrible DVD artwork!
I love this can't wait for season two horrible artwork though.
The cover art looks very cheap.
I liked the pilot, but the subsequent episodes didn't live up to it. I might still check it out on dvd.

Another complaint about the cover they excluded BEN
SAM, SOCK, AND BEN should have all been on the cover.

Oh, yeah. You're right. I just remembered that when I re-read the press release at TVShowsonDVD.com.

The show has indeed been renewed for another season and should return in september or october

Missy Peregrym should win the award for 'hottest girl with the silliest name'.

Nah it won't be on in the fall. The CW is starting the season in the new year as a midseason replacement.

Yeah, it's a mid-season replacement... 13 more shows... and then I am afraid they will probably axe it...
and that's my dilemma, i love the show, probably my favorite new show in a long time, but I wouldn't really buy it unless it were a blu-ray release...
but if i don't buy this, and the DVD sales aren't very strong, the show has a better chance to get canceled and less of a chance of ever being released in high-def so... I will probably have to suck it up and buy one, and maybe more for gifts.
for those who haven't seen it, the show is amazing and really hits its stride about mid-way through the season. From there it's great episode after great episode.

That cover art is awful--I was hoping there would be a Blu-Ray release when I saew it was LionsGate
Great show. Can't wait for series two!

seems you were right, CW and FOX have a tendency to play half of a regular shows season then replace it with a "Mid-season" show for a short season(usually 12 or so eps) the return to the regular shows season... I just hope the re-vamped 90210 is a dismal failure, I despised that show first time around
