Universal Home Video has officially announced a new special edition of Rear Window which stars James Stewart, Grace Kelly, and Raymond Burr. The 2-disc set will be available to own from the 7th October, and should retail at around $26.98. The film itself will be presented in 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Mono track. This is my second favorite Hitchcock film, behind Psycho. Like Psycho, I'll probably pick it up in November around my birthday or something. Or get it as a gift maybe.

One of the sexiest moments in cinema is James Stewart's perspective of Grace Kelly as he wakes up. One of many moments of genius in this film. Definitely worth the best treatment a film can be afforded.

Still waiting for Blu... this is one of the first Hitchcock films I ever saw, and still one of the best. But I can't justify getting this and then having a BD come out.

i remember when i saw this on an English class... and we discussed about it, and we had quizes about it, im gonna own this, just for the joy of watching it again.

besides i checked this out at some movie sales, and this one, but i think the original DVD was liike 40 bucks, man
