hmmm...must have been a blink and you will miss it release in the Australian cinemas - I will give it a go....
Did anyone else notice how one of the fight scenes seemed to be ripped off from (or inspired by) Oldboy?
Eh, I probably shouldn't name names, if only because it might make them look vitriolic. They are two of the more popular male cast members. They love Bousman and the fans of the movie, just not the flick itself.

The music's utterly terrible, and more than a few cast members can't sing very well.
I've worked on films with cast members from Repo! and they agree with me, so at least I'm not alone in my opinion.
I was just wondering if you could tell us which cast members they were and exactly what they said. It is not that I don't believe you, I'm just actually curious to know.

I'll rent "Repo Men" because it looks interesting, but I'm pretty sure RTGO will be better.
Agreed.

horrorfan25, i LOVE (and have all her albums) Sarah Brightman and even she couldn't save GENETIC OPERA for me. i also like Bousman. but the songs were terrible (i DO like "At the Opera"
and just about everything else was terrible and felt like i was watching a high school play. i'm not putting down anyone who likes it and i'm glad people do, i just hated it.

This movie was so awesome!! However, the ending will be a big middle finger to anyone who doesn't understand it. Day one Blu-ray purchase for me!!
fun movie... the ending sequence was much better when they revealed the twist... i liked it more after that.
and Forest was awesome as usual... gave the movie more credibility.

I thought it was b*****ks.
Liked it more than Genetic Opera, but neither's great. Both have really fun moments and really awful, dull ones.
i really liked this movie. was it just me...or did the soundtrack really stand out???
I was mad how it basically ripped off Brazil at the end there. That's all I'll say.
Still like the Opera MUCH more. Like, a thousand times more. It's just that this "idea" works better as a weird musical than some serious plot film.

I really did enjoy this. Wasnt expecting too much but came out pretty happy. Will be buying the Blu on day one. Sucks that it tanked at the box office.
It wasnt bad, the twist is a bit of a schock but if u pay CLOSE attention to details it does make more sense. I can't explain further b/c of spoilers but certain things make more sense. Characters are more like superheroes in some scenes
I liked it but the ending and one fight scene looked like they were ripped off from better movies.
i REALLY liked this movie (except for the last 4 or so minutes). the "twist" nearly ruined the movie for me. i still will get this and BRAVO to Uni for putting both version on BR AND regular dvd!! and hell yes, this movie is a trillion times better than Repo:The Genetic Opera.
simply for the sake of comparing films with "Repo" in the title...I'd say "Repoman" is the better film haha.
I agree, thought it was better than "Repo!" which was just pure c**p. But still not a great film. It had some cool moments but overall not sure if I'll be watching it again.
Thought it was very good, better than that AWFUL peice of s**t Repo!
I'll stick with my copies of Repo! The Genetic Opera
Never heard any fuzz for this one.
Actually, the ending made the film make perfect sense for the most part...
I'll bite on this release for the extra 7 minutes.

Some pretty cool ass-kicking scenes by Jude Law, but the "twist" ending was telegraphed from a mile away, and ultimately, most of the film made no sense.
