The UK Region 2 Petrol Can Edition has different and better dvd menus than the Region 1 Petrol Can edition - it also contains some features that were missing on the R1, such as the original interviews from the 10th Anniversary DVD (check your R1 ;-)). I had the R1 and returned it. The pop up info feature during the film was also quite faulty on the R1. As for the UK ratings, I think they look cool on the cover, especially when it's an 18, reminds you that the film is badass.

The film looks better than I've ever seen before and it sounds good too. I think the Blu-ray disc also contains all the extra feautures that were on the R1 petrol can DVD (I own that too). The only thing missing is a documentary featuring interviews with Harry Knowles and others.I forget to mention... I'm actually talking about the Dutch Blu-ray... Not the HD DVD.
Oh lucky.. a Blu tin!
Cool. Good to hear

The RRP of the USA BD was much more than that. These are just RRPs, don't take them seriously.

No but I do know it's Region B.

I own it...
I'll stick with my special edition thanks. It would have been nice to release this a few years ago when people were buying this.....
Very creative packaging/artwork for an excellent movie. I already own this one as well as the previous 2 disc edition.

Did I say that? No. I simply find them annoying and quite often they spoil the coverart. I know Im not alone in my hatred of them.

The R1 15th LE has much better AV to the old UK SE (which is only a DVD5) and R1 10th LE, which has awful PQ.

Might get this but I do have the special edition, got it very cheap in a sale so I will resist a DD. My brother has the coloured US special edition, no chance of him ever upgrading.

Joe: All right ramblers, let's get rambling!
Mr. Pink: Uh-uh, I don't tip.
I own this, it's okay. Some of the documentary's on it are pretty good. Tarantino sure has a way with words.

In LE form yes, it's now just a 2 disc keep case.

Indeed, and they released at least two versions I can think of. This has the best transfer of the lot though, or at leats it will if it's anything like the US release.
Lionsgate have also only just picked up the UK rights. It was Momentum before.
This is a nice set. I seem to remember this has the best transfer so far for Dogs. Worth getting if you don't already own it
I think they're only releasing it because of the BD version. Makes sense to do both at the same time. We've had a bit of a Reservoir Dogs overload in the UK, although I guess that's true in the States as well.
