Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed early details on DVD ($27.96) and Blu-ray ($39.95) releases of Resident Evil: Degeneration. This new full length CGI feature film will be available to own from the 30th December. Extras will include a making of featurette, voice bloopers, character profiles, an interview with Leon, a “Resident Evil 5” video game trailer, and a Resident Evil: Degeneration Trailer Collection. We'll bring you further details as we get them. We've attached the package artwork below:

No, but now you mention it, Advent Children was another 90min cutscene that would have cured my insomnia had I not been laughing at the dialogue and use of mobile phones.

Yeah, the movie seemed to be a bit of a huge cell-phone add at points....

In terms of the diaogue, I think it depends on which dub you've seen. The original Japanese has, well...not bad dialogue. Save for the "dilly-dally-shilly-shally." thing.

That cover maaaaaaaaaaan my eyes still hurt, but hey, better to have a lame cover and a good movie rather than the opposite, right? At least, that's the impression the trailer gave me, because I have to say, in my opinion, the RE series so far (the movies) sucked! Milla was sexy as hell, but the treatment wasn't even touching half of what I expected it to do. At least, the CGI version will probably prove me right... and wasn't it like a year ago that we first heard about that Degeneration movie? Talk about loooooooooooooong.

Pros: Finally, a story directly related to the mythos established in the awesome videogame franchise.

Cons: No chance to glimpse Milla Jovovich's bush.

Which, to be honest, has to be the only reason someone would actually sit through the horrible live-action movies.

So you'd rather watch the extremely cartoony Disney/Pixar films, but would still pass on a dark, sci-fi/horror CG film all because you had a bad experience with SQUARE SOFT's "Final Fantasy" flick from years past?

So he doesn't wanna watch another CGI film of this genre (video game type anime). So what's the big deal? Why is this so hard to understand? The only part I don't get is, why even buy the first three films, they were awful. O well. I'm not even interested in this, I just always look at the new movies coming out haha. Gotta stay educated.
