Lionsgate announces a new Japanese horror from director Kiyoshi Kurosawa

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced Retribution (Sakebi) which stars Koji Yakusho, Manami Konishi, and Tsuyoshi Ihara. The Kiyoshi Kurasawa directed horror will be available to own from the 15th April, and should retail at around $26.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with a Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. English and Spanish subtitles will also be provided. Extras will include a Making of Retribution featurette, an interview with Director Kiyoshi Kurasawa, and an alternate ending. We've attached our first look at the official package artwork below:

I liked this one but didn't love it. I need to rewatch it though and like the cover art quite a bit. Nice one.

When are we going to see Kurosawa's "Loft" on DVD?

Synopsis:

Quote: From acclaimed director Kiyoshi Kurasawa (Pulse and Cure), Retribution was a film festival favorite, named the “Official Selection” of the New York Asian Film Festival, FantAsia Film Festival and the Fantastic Fest. Detective Yoshioka is investigating the drowning death of a young woman in a red dress. Lying face down in a muddy puddle, her stomach is found to be full of sea water. As the investigation progresses, clues begin to appear that point to him being the murderer – as his fingerprints are found on the body and some of his personal items are found at the murder scene. As more bodies turn up, killed in the same way, even he begins to wonder whether he may be the very murderer that he is pursuing.
