Why does the DVD cover-
A. Look like a pirated version
B. De Niro and Pacino look like the Krays?

I did too but it got such bad press I didn't bother. Pity, as the talent should've demanded more. Like Downey Jr. did with Iron Man.
Man, I guess we shouldn't have complain about their lack of sharing screen times in Heat, because we then get this...
I really enjoyed this. Nowhere near as good as "Heat", but put Deniro and Pacino on-screen together and I'm in all the way. A sad thought, given their respective ages, that this may be the last chance we get to see them share the screen together. Good little flick, though. Must-buy for me.
No matter how good this looks it is a big skip for me. A majority of the time critics know what's a good movie and what isn't. Even though sometimes a movie might be overrated/underrated.
The best thing that came out of it was that I could see why they chose to do it. Even if it was a little sub standard.
Pairing the Godfathers
It seems that Hollywood has been at a total loss as to what to do with these actors ever since the Godfather. In theory the pairing of 2 of Hollywood's most dynamic actors would be gold spilling over but it really hasn't turned out that way. Heat was an okay movie much like this one. Is there too much talent on the table that they actually cancel each other out? The performances in both movies were good but nothing stirring like like the Godfather. Technically they were not paired in the Godfather but the performances were moving and very intense. I just didn't get that from the outings thus far since they've been paired. Maybe Hollywood waited too long and the build up crested and couldn't be attained. I just don't know but you'd think something would have been made that would have really showcased the promise of 2 of the best actors around.
wondering if the ending actually blew Larry King away...
Pass.
This movie got nothing but bad buzz from day one.
I haven't been able to sit through a DeNiro flick since...jeez, I can't even remember.

This looked sooooo bad, what a shame....two of my favourite actors of all time and either one of them has done a great movie in years.
Last great one for De Niro: 'Ronin'(1998) and the last great one for Pacino: 'The Insider' (1999) this decade hasn't been kind.

this really is not a good movie. such a shame.
I heard 50 Cent gets a beat-down from De Niro in this. I think that alone makes this worthy of giving the Blu-ray a chance....
awesome box art I am so buying this
Righteous Kill was an ok for me. Not quite as bad as the critics made it out to be, but why 50 cent???
ill get it thru netflix

Spoiler Alert.... but who gives a f**k. Move was a steaming pile anyway, and the fact that this thing tanked theatrically gives me great satisfaction.

I thought it was okay, but damn, they pretty much tell you who the killer is in the middle of it. And the cover makes Pacino look older than he actually is.

I more or less agree with you on De Niro, but as for Pacino...I thought his role as Det. William Dormer in Nolan's Insomnia was one of his best performances ever, and that came out in 2002...just my opinion though...

Righteous Bore.
Can't wait for the Blu-ray! De Niro and Pacino once again shows us why they're the best of the best!
Carla Gugino is the best thing about it.
Really wanted to see it and hated it! It was ridiculously predictable and Pacino needs to retire, he kept doing that thing he did in the Recruit where it looked like he wasn't alking to people but behind them. That and it was boring!
oh so bad.....
From the director of 88 Minutes. That's already a bad sign. The trailer just made me sick cause it was acting like it really wanted to be a Scorsesse movie, yet every line of dialogue was cliche and stupid.
Might rent...
I have also heard bad things but I will still brave it to see those two together...
Not great, but not as bad as most of the "critics" said... And yeah, Carla Gugino is sssmmokin' hot! Will buy it, as I'm a fan of both, and it actually had a few good lines. Great supporting cast also includes the underrated John Leguizamo and the awesome Brian Dennehy (who looks like he's ill, or hung-over).
Two great actors. All it needed was a great script and director.
What a waste.
What a waste.
Awful movie but nice art.
