Universal Pictures UK has announced the DVD and Blu-ray release of Robin Hood/Gladiator Double Pack for the 20th of September, priced at around £25.99 and £39.99 respectively. Bonus material will likely be the same as the individual releases, but there's no mention of whether Gladiator will be the newly remastered version or the older version with edge enhancement, DNR and the like. Here's the artwork.

@Bradavon, just that the entire feel of Robin Hood, in the posters and trailers, seemed like Gladiator redux. Apparently even the studios felt the same, which is why they are being released as a two-pack? It's just my dig at Robin Hood! Maybe Nottingham would have been more interesting.

Didn't really bother to see "Robin Hood." A rent might be put into consideration but I loved "Gladiator." Most of Russell Crowe's movies have been rentals lately.

The cover art implies this is the Gladiator: Remastered Edition. For what's worth. The cover art on Amazon clearly shows the old cover art.

Plenty of great actors are arseholes. Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, both have been arseholes at times. They're still great at their job though.

Jeez, Crowe even looks the same in both films (except a bit heavier in Robin Hood). I asked an actor that did a film with him a couple of years ago if he really is an arsehole, and I was told not to believe everything I read in the paper. Bah. I still can't stand him. The only thing I would go and see Russell Crowe in is his house if it was on fire.

Yay! Gladiator parts 1 and 2! Unfortunately, I didn't much like part 1. I am yet to watch part 2. Will give it a chance since I respect Ridley Scott.
