Fox Home Video has announced the release of The Rodgers & Hammerstein Collection, which will be available to own on the 7th of November at a retail price of $99.98. The 12-disc set will include all-new two-disc special editions of the duo's classic musicals The King and I, South Pacific, and Carousel, along with the previously released two-disc editions of State Fair, Oklahoma!, and The Sound of Music. Each of the new titles will also be available to own separately on the 7th as well and each will carry a retail price of $26.98. We've attached a detailed listing of each new set along with the artwork for the collection below.

Nice artwork, but I think I prefer the R2 artwork though. These came out last year over here.

These three new movies say they are 2.55:1 widescreen or 2.35:1 widescreen. I wonder if they are anamorphic or enhanced for 16x9 ?

That "Carousel" box is far too cheery.
