HORRORFAN25, i totally agree w/ you. i HATED Wolf Creek. i felt like i was watching a travel video for Australia for most of the movie!!! anyways, i have high hopes for ROGUE. i'll probably blind buy it.
I never understood why people apply "common sense" or logic to horror movie situations. Like, when someone says "Why didn't he/she do yadda-yadda". How many people in reality ALWAYS use common sense 24/7? And considering the heightened state of distress these people are in, can you blame them for not doing something the "right" way? Otherwise if they did, the movie's length would be cut in half and then people would claim predictability. Wolf Creek was a little long-winded with the exposition, but I liked it nonetheless and felt for the characters more than say the kids in Hostel or whatever other recent gore-no.
WOLF CREEK was fantastic. I'll probably blind buy ROGUE as it's supposed to be good. The art is lame though and makes it look like just another stupid Direct-to-DVD release with nothing to set it apart from all of the other recent killer croc flicks. They should have made it classier.
I hate Dimension/Weinstein since they always screw their movies over, and of course I hate them more since that stupid Blockbuster Exclusive deal. INSIDE should have been given a limited theatrical release. It's one of the best horror films I've seen. TEETH was pretty cool too, and funny.

Wolf Creek was one of the most stupid movies i have seen. The girls that got killed by the killer was so damn stupid.Nobody in a real life situation like that would just bash him with the rifel and leave. No if you are in real danger for your life the survival instinct kicks in and you will kill to survive. WC got it all WRONG!

We went to the premiere of this at the Sitges Film Festival 2007, the producers were there and they spoke a little bit about it. I thought yeah another creature feature crocodile film, like tons of others, however this was actually quite surprising, unlike the others it did keep the suspense all the way through (the characters are stranded on a little island in the middle of the river with the tide rising) and the crocodile was superbly done. Radha Mitchell and the rest of the supporting cast were good and the film was very entertaining. Definitely deserved a better fate that being slipped out to cinemas and they dumped out to DVD. If you haven´t seen it, it`s worth it.

The croc looks a little too satanic to me, but I definitely want to see this.
Radha Mitchell-I've enjoyed looking at her since Pitch Black.
This is why Dimension Films SUCKS!!!!!! This was supposed to go into theaters...ugh well atleast i'll finally get to see it.
This will defiantly be a blind buy for me, I have a weak spot for killer crocs, and I heard this movie was miles ahead of croc flicks that actually got a chance at theaters, like Primevil.

Damn, it didn't even get released in Canada, in theatres. That blows.
I hated Wolf Creek. I'm sorry for anyone who did. But seriously the whole first hour was about partying and getting drunk with lousy acting. By the time the violence came the film was over. But 'Rouge' may be an improvement. I liked 'Black water' and 'Lake Placid'. But I hated 'Lake Placid 2'. By the way Dimension Extreme brings us the best artwork and good extras. Most importantly good films. teeth, diary of the dead, and now this. Although I'm tired of the 'unrated' band. They use these way too much. I bet it's the same footage but additional footage. Anyway I'm going to check this out but if it's bad I'll tell you guys about it.
I assume a rated release would have no blood on the teeth?
It was in the theartres here but it fled pretty quickly...

i wonder what was cut in the US version or if its going to be like the Wolf Creek Unrated DVD and insert deleted scenes, getting the R4 DVD in about 2 weeks when its released, hopefully it will have the same special features
i saw this film, played only in one theater in my city, and i was in a big theater all alone to watch it,
played for only one week, but i must say it was better than i thought it would be, great film but lousy ending, not enough deaths, was really good till the end of the film,, i might still get it

Yeah, I wanted to catch this one badly too but of course they screwed us like Dimention (Weinsteins) have been doing with all of their horror movies lately.

Relax Gabe Powers. It was playing in theaters November 8, 2007 in Australia and it was playing in select theaters in the US April 25, 2008.

A definite buy for me. I've been watching killer croc movies non-stop lately (Lake Placid 2, Croc, Black Water).
S**t, did this go STV?
Very cool cover art.I think we need another Crocodile/Alligator horror movie...
I wanted to see this in movies but it wasn't playing near me. I'm tired of limited releases getting Dimension Extreme Unrated. It's uncalled for.
