Quote: “Ain’t never gonna have no partner,” LAPD Det. James Carter insists. He gets a partner. And since that partner is played by dynamic martial arts legend Jackie Chan and motor-mouthed Carter is played by wisecracking Chris Tucker, Rush Hour zooms along with gleeful chemistry under the dynamic directorial hand of Brett Ratner. The case: rescue the kidnapped daughter of a visiting Hong Kong official. The result: amazing stunts (Chan does his own) and verbal wit (well, Tucker does his own, too!) that delivered a kick to the buddy-cop genre – and gave Chan his long-awaited, mainstream-U.S. breakthrough.

Funniest hyperbole ever!

"And gave Chan his long-awaited, mainstream U.S. breakthrough?!" Really, New Line/Warner? You know, that's funny, because I thought that 1995's "Rumble in the Bronx" was Jackie Chan's U.S. breakthrough.
Yeah. Love this movie, but also love the other two. Will wait for the Boxed Set, the same as the Karate Kid Boxed Set I'm still waiting for.
An average movie - you would think the trilogy box as mentioned above would be the go....
Why not do 1 & 2 since 3 is already out?
the first and best. 2 & 3 were ok-ish.
I have the DVD box set, so getting Rush Hour and Rush Hour 3 on Blu-ray doesn't sound right to do yet.
I'm waiting for a box set.
I'm waiting for a box set.
With all complete boxsets, an impending release date will be announced! Look out for it after they decide to announce that Rush Hour 2 will be released on Blu-ray!
Where's the trilogy box set?
What a synopsis!
No trilogy boxset?
