The Gladiator rumours are good - I have not bought this on BD yet due to the flaws...
This would be great on BD - imagine the sound!
I love my full rate DTS track on the DVD - it's a pity there is no commentary in existance....

As for Spielberg films, bring on Schindler's List and Munich, and I'll be a happy man!

I hope that includes the latest one as well, something something Crystal Skull. I forgot that one came out last year.
Indy IV was released on Blu-Ray and DVD simultaneously in 2008.

Let's just hope Lucas hasn't yet brainwashed him into revisionism (ET's Special Edition nonwithstanding).

Yeah, with Paramount recent upcoming BD Artwork like Collateral and Minority Report being such disasters, this one is actually done right.

Great to see they use the poster art for the cover and the amount of extras on here.
I heard Steven Spielberg overlooks the Blu-Ray releases of his films. BTW, this is the second Spielberg Blu-Ray release, correct? (first one being Close Encounters of the Third Kind)
^ Tried to edit but it wouldn't allow me sooooo....
I forgot about the upcoming Minority Report release, making Saving Private Ryan either the second or third Blu-Ray release of Spielberg films. Oops.

First day buy for sure!
I've multiple-dipped to have every version of this film since its first DVD release, and don't plan to stop now. Definitely worth having the best possible version available.

haha...there's one in every bunch!

Man Tom Sizemore used to be such a great actor. Its sad he had a sort of downward spiral.
A great film, though not one of my favorites. I much prefer The Thin Red line and this year's The Hurt Locker to this, I'll wait for the eventual Amazon sale on this.

Without the Sapphire labels, or the floating heads.
You mean, here's finally a time when they use the poster art and you don't like it?
What can I say? I don't like the poster.

Sweeeeet. I traded in my other copy already. Will have to pick this one up. That movie deserves better.

This is a Digital Bits rumor. Unconfirmed, but possibly true.

Glad they are finally getting some Speilberg out on blu-ray. Day one for me. Please look better than that Gladiator transfer.

Nice! I had a feeling it HAD to be the Sapphire Series.
