Tomorrow's the day! Can't wait. Don't know which one I'm gonna buy.
i saw this twice... the second time, kinda forced... i had no choice...
- SAW was really good
- SAW II was/is my favorite, as a horror fan i must say it'll be my favorite of them all
- SAW III was just ok... (and they should'd stop there, and end it as a trilogy... but that wasnt enough)
- SAW IV came out and i totally hated it... but i spent 9 bucks at the theater, and then when it came out on dvd i bought it...
- SAW V (THIS ONE) i have no idea what to say to this... i saw it twice, but i cant really say something good... nothing positive, but yet i saw it twice, so it's kind of ironic...
- SAW VI is coming out this october... and i hope they really do a good job... which it's hard to believe...

Here's Hoping They Never Stop Making The Saw Movies
I Wanna See Saw 20
I Wanna See Saw 20
I'm a huge Saw fan, one of many of my guilty pleasures. I missed this in theaters, which sucks because I have seen 2 through 4 at some point during their opening weekends. I will blind buy this on DVD, since I have the previous 4 on DVD and see no need to upgrade this series to Blu. I wanna preserve the gritty look.
Definately buying the day it comes out. I'm a huge Saw fan, and already own 1-4. Don't know if I want the regular DVD or the collector's editon.
I actually liked Part V alot better than IV. Some people complained that it was too short, but honestly I don't think Saw needs to be a 2 hour film. This one was 90 minutes and the story was tight and kept moving. I actually enjoyed that it was more of a detective plot. I wonder how much more footage Hackl will re-insert into this "Unrated" edition.
BTW, even though this was the lowest grossing Saw movie, it still turned a profit since the budget is only $10M.

Oh Xage, get ready to waste your money.....AGAIN
I love this film (suck it!!!!) as I am a huge SAW fan. The ending I saw coming but overall a great saw film in the franchise. I will def. pick all editions on day of release. The covers are kick ass!!!!
I saw Saw at the cinema and thought it was s**t and then for some reason (even unknown to myself), I have felt like sitting down and watching the rest of the series. Saw 2 was better than the first but still poor. Saw 3 was boring, but again better than the first two and I recently watched Saw 4 on SKY Premiere and that ending made no sense whatsoever, so I had to find an explanation for it online. As for Saw 5, I'll wait till it reaches SKY Premiere because while these films are undoubutedly not worth the hype/money they've earned, they can still be a guilty pleasure to pass 90mins.
I'll have to look at the Collector's Edition in person before deciding which to get.
It wasn't as good as the others but still wasn't bad. It had a couple improvements over Saw IV at least. But the twist was the weakest of the series.

ill pick it up when it hits the 5$ bin at walmart and or previously seen at blockbuster.

Saw M (2100)
Saw Iv was really good until the last five minutes killed it. If you listen to the commentary even the director thought the ending tanked it. I dont really care for the Jigsaw replacement character but the Scream Queen show on VH1 about women competing for a role in Saw VI is a blast!)
Im surprised there wont be a special edition blu ray... will buy regardless tho.
I actually liked this one more than the 4rth. I loved watching Strahm... To bad the twists are becoming predictable. Still gonna pick this up.

Which is why no one believed it.

Roll on January 20th love the cover.
The artwork is awesome. I wish I saw this one on the big screen.
I'll probably pick this one up since I have the first three (planning on getting the fourth one soon).

I don't care what anybody says I love this movie. I don't care if you call me stupid for liking this but I will pick it up the first day. (btw this is a non-sarcasm statement).
IV was actually my favorite. I think some people don't want to invest any effort when it comes to the Saw series, but if you really followed the films I don't see how you could be let down by how clever the fourth one actually was. Not ingenious by any means, but still, a really good usage of all the elements they had at their disposal.
The fifth one seemed to be reactionary to the fourth one's apparent rejection by the fans, going for a far more straightforward twist that was alright, but not particularly compelling (not to mention the B-plot of the movie picked off the interesting characters in the entirely wrong order).
I think I heard plans have changed, but earlier the idea was that VI would conclude another arc and the series might take a break. I guess given that the series is probably closing in on being a billion-dollar franchise for Lionsgate, I can't blame them for keeping the gravy train a-rollin', but I was looking forward to seeing a bit of a conclusion with the next chapter.

Nice of them to have a special edition (and right off the bat!) this time around. When SAW IV came out this past January, I purposely waited until October for the inevitable (and usual) special edition to come out - but one never did, so I had to pick up the "normal" unrated director's cut. At least this time I KNOW for CERTAIN there's a special set to add to my collections of the "blood and blade" SAW unrated DVD, the 3D hologram of II, the nifty slipcase of III, and IV. One more movie! One more movie! (Then please stop there as has been promised.)
Loving the 'Unrated Director's Cut' art.
Yawn.
Saw II is still my favorite but Saw V could of been better. I think from Saw VI and so on It'll just keep on going down hill. Not to thrilled about the cover art.
Didn't even bother with this.
I'm done with this series.
It's just not that good.

Saw III is far and away my favorite in the series. This is a step up from IV, but it's all set-up for the next movie. It might as well end with "TO BE CONTINUED NEXT YEAR!"
Up until this installment I really have enjoyed the series for what it is and I thought IV was a step up from III, but this really got under my skin and sealed the deal as being the last one I'll pay to see. The fact that Spoiler it has such blatant disregard for providing any kind of true ending and just leaves string after confounded string of plot open for the obligatory sequel just pissed me off this time. People literally booed as the credits began to roll after that ending.
I'll stick with I and II from now on.

SAW V was ok. Not nearly as bad as I was expecting. By the way I love the artwork!
Ugh, I really hated this one.
I don't plan on ever seeing these movies.
I really wished they would've went with the poster art....but I guess it doesn't matter. I will definitely be picking this one up....as it was a worthy entry into the franchise.
That collector's box is awesome, I'll definitely pick that up. Saw V was my 2nd favorite of the series behind the third one. It was really awesome, despite what most people said.
When will it end? Saw VI is tentatively set to come out on Oct 30th 2009 It's the highest grossing horror franchise in history, with a cumulative worldwide gross of $618 million, how did that happen?
The unrated art looks sick. Haven't seen this yet, but I probably won't buy it regardless.
