The new features don't look like they're enough to upgrade from the older DVD release.
Love this movie, but not interested enough to know every nook and cranny about its origins, publicity, etc.

What's wrong with an epic quote from the movie?
Actually, the original, original tagline was "To know Lloyd Dobler is love him. Diane Court is about to get to know Lloyd Dobler". They changed it for the previous DVD.

This is my favorite movie of all time, usually I hate double dipping, but this is going to be SO worth it, i'll probably buy it on DVD and Blu-Ray
Love this movie! Pretty much anything Cusack is worth watching, great actor.

His legs have been photoshopped to spread his stance to such an extent that this now looks like an exercise film. Notice how the left leg is an EXACT mirror image of the right leg from the bottom of the pants down? Then again, if I was carrying a boombox the size of my *entire body*, I would probably be standing that way as well. I truly despise photoshopped cover art. What the heck would have been wrong with this? http://www.moviegoods.com//Assets/product_image... Note the proper pose for Cusack and non-back-breaking size for the boombox.
I knew it looked odd! I'm with you -- the original was so much better.

I'm so glad I held out on the current edition for as long as I did. I mean I always felt it had sufficient features, but I felt they could have fit a little more.. And surely here they are with the double dip.. Wish the retrospective was on the dvd as well.. But I guess i'll have something to look forward to and double dip on whenever I upgrade to Blu.
20th anniversarry thing i could've done without, but great that this is getting a new release, Cusack is indeed underrated, he was awesome in this in this, 1408 and many more!
Good film. Cusack is vastly underrated.
I don't really like the 20th Anniversary thing, should have put it separately to the stereo...

Man, great movies are getting newer editions which is awesome!!!
This would be a good cover without the quote on the right and the 20th anniversary stamped on the boom box.
I like this movie, but probably not enough to upgrade.
