Wrong studio. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment not Sony
SlashFilm.com is reporting that there will be another limited edition (only 999 made) version that will cost $999.99. It will come in a humidor I guess ... http://www.slashfilm.com/99999-scarface-limited...
Instead of carving out plastic cases, giving us the impression we buy nothing solid, the studios should get rid of this epidemic problem that is digital copy.

i'd also throw "bonus dvd version" as well. if i wanted the dvd i'd buy it. we shouldnt have to pay more for something we dont need. if they can sell the dvd on its own, they can do that for the blu-ray as well.
(i realize SOME do but most dont)

Bonus DVD Version makes sense, as if you have a BD player in 1 but not all rooms, you can still watch. Giving away digital copy is absurd, given that the digital copy available on iTunes for most films costs more than the packaged DVD product, when you account for in-store promotions/discounts. How am I supposed to justify paying $14.99 for a digital copy on iTunes when I can go to the store and get the BD, DVD and digital copy for a little over $20. Now factor in that it is officially legal to make your own digital copy (provided it is for personal use only), and that $14.99 iTunes number is just absurd.

Why not Howard Hawks' original as an extra? I haven't seen it, but it's probably worlds better than this trashy remake (probably another reason why it isn't on the Blu-Ray)...

there including it but only on a dvd not a blu-ray

I prefer the more modest box art of the original poster, but I guess this will do.
