Quote: Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for totally average garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams...literally. The only catch to winning Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him. Genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker’s quest to power up with love in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Scott Pilgrim has never had a problem getting a girlfriend. It’s getting rid of them that proves difficult. From the girl who kicked his heart’s ass—and now is back in town—to the teenage distraction he’s trying to shake when Ramona rollerblades into his world, love hasn’t been easy. He soon discovers, however, his new crush has the most unusual baggage of all: a nefarious league of exes controls her love life and will do whatever it takes to eliminate him as a suitor. As Scott gets closer to Ramona, he must face an increasingly vicious rogues’ gallery from her past—from infamous skateboarders to vegan rock stars and fearsomely identical twins. And if he hopes to win his true love, he must vanquish them all before it really is game over.

I'm liking the box art. Shame this didn't do better in theaters. It's one the year's best. Day one for me.

i absolutely loved this movie. i didn't know much about it...just the premise. was very pleased with it.
This film was so epic that it felt too cool to even be a film. Definitely will be picking this up. May not have done well in the box office, but this film is an instant cult classic.

I've never understood the dislike for the guy. I've been a fan since Arrested Development. He's been in some c**p, but nothing Youth in Revolt and Scott Pilgrim couldn't make up for.

Great movie. Will be getting the Blu.
Yes
Awesome. First day for sure. Sucks I don't have a bluray player though. Oh well I just want to own this. Now where the hell's Inception? UK already has a release date. How about us?
The countdown begins.....can't wait for this one.
Buying this movie immediately. Probably pausing every time Mark Webber's on screen.
Also, not liking the cover art. Still though, awesomtastic movie of amazingness.

Definite day one purchase for me, loving the combo pack format. It's be awesome if the font on the Blu-ray art read "COMBO" like whenever someone made a combo move in the film.
Best line - "He punched the highlights out of her hair!!"

Film of the year so far. Not the best film technically, but definitely the most fun I've had at the cinema. Knives Chau helps.
if peter travers from rolling stone liked it it must be good. he isnt the kind of critic who goes looking to get his reviews quoted. :/
Antichrist and Scott Pilgrim on the same day... quite the interesting contrast in movie purchases.
I love this movie so bad it hurts. My Thoughts
A travesty it wasn't anything but a complete blockbuster. DAMN YOU PRECONCEPTIONS ABOUT CERA!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and 4 commentary tracks!? Holy s**te that's gonna be fantastic.

Full of special features. will wait til Black Friday so I can get a nice discount or when it hits the used dvd store for $10, like The Runaways/Kick Ass is already priced at.

Actually before this film he was starting to really bother me. His humor and acting has grown stale. He basically does the same routine over and over again. In how many films has he played the same ol wimpy, with wit and dry humor guy next door trying to get by? Too many times. At least in this film he brings it to a new level. After all this is an Edgar Wright film.

Yeh i am not the biggest cera fan at all but hes actually tolerable in this. I loved moments of this film but its funny at the start i swear i wanted to walk out. It just drove me crazy, all the too hip lingo but then it comes around and gets really good. Its worth a rental for those curious.
Destined to become a cult classic for sure, along with Inception one of the best things to come out this year. So much fun!

I'm sure with Cera its a matter of personal preference, but I don't like buying into the idea that typecasting is a fault. Range is certainly impressive, but I never want to see Clint Eastwood playing anything but a tough guy. I don't want to watch Jet Li in a movie where he doesn't fight. It's a character that Cera play well, and personally I don't blame him for sticking to it. After all, he is barely in his 20's. He has plenty of time to change it up.
And how about that Toshiro Mifune? Ugh. Always playing tough guys with swords. (ok this part is a joke)

Definately one of my favorite of the year!!!! Gotta watch it again for all of the stuff I missed! PLUS! Those who are fans of the video game they made, supposedly the DVD will have a code to play as Knives Chau in the game!!

He needs to quit doing ridiculous comedy after "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist." He should be in an action movie.

god, i can't wait to see this!!!!! the (what seems to be) similar (in tone and theme) movie KICK ASS (one of my favorite movies in years) didn't fly at the box office like this one didn't but every person i know who saw it says it's F'ing amazing! i'm pissed i didn't see it in theaters! definite buy from me!
My 2nd favorite movie of the year so far 2nd only to Kick Ass. Glad to see a Fully Loaded Blu-Ray release.
Ah, 4 commentaries. I now have an excuse to watch this movie compulsively...as it is, I've gone to the theaters and seen it there thrice. And it was worth the thirty bucks and about six hours of my time.
