But now a distress signal brings a team of rescuers to the supposedly abandoned planet. Can it be a long-lost colony of human survivors? Or have the Screamers evolved into something even more sinister…a half-man/half-machine hybrid that needs to escape Sirius 6B to finish its mission: the complete annihilation of the human race? Based on a short story by the visionary creator of Blade Runner, Total Recall and Minority Report, SCREAMERS: THE HUNTING is a mind-shattering sequel to Philip K. Dick’s legendary sci-fi cult thriller!

From Robocop to Bishop!
Hell, maybe they should have stuck with tradition and brought in Robert Burke instead...
THE WILSON BROS

They shouldn't be allowed to put 'Blade Runner' and 'Minority Report' on the cover for this garbage.
This is weird, Screamers was on TV last night and I thought to myself whilst watching "I'm surprised they never did a sequel to this........................"
The moral of my story is be careful what you wish for I guess.
The original was cool though, although I'm still not sure about the teddy bear at the end, any news of a Blu release for this??

The perfect weapon is now the ultimate killing machine? Well duh.
Anyone else notice the resemblance to Gears Of War?
Screamers is a wonderful Sci Fi movie that certainly does not need a sequel. Especially a DTV one. Let me guess, it's all polished up with CGI and fast action scenes for the MTV generation. At least the original had layers.

I love Lance Henriksen. Every movie that he's in.... automatically gets 25% better when he's onscreen.
