i DID like Cage's DRIVE ANGRY. it's a total guilty pleasure that was surprising fun. just sayin'.
i can't wait to own this to my dvd collection. sure it isn't going to win any awards but it damn sure was entertaining & fun. that should b enough for anyone to own a movie such as this one & plus it stars my 2nd fav actor, the talented & awesome nicolas cage.
They should of put Ron Perlman's name somewhere else on the cover. This movie never caught my attention. Nicolas Cage needs to start making good movies.

LOL i think any movie with perlman would be better withouth him on the cover. Unless it's hellboy

I like the cover art. the movie started out OK before me abandoning liking the film about a little over halfway into it. It is a bad movie with a good theatrical trailer or two
Well Book of eli was a tad longer. Theatres January 2010 then dvd/blu in June of that year and the year before gran torino took a little while. Star trek took a little while too. May 2009 then october or november of that year but yeh this is one of the longer more recent ones
@horrorfan25 Usually Christmas movies dont come out til the next year around christmas, so excluding christmas movies.
And A Warriors Way came out a month before in theaters and comes out on video the same day as this.

Not exactly. "A Christmas Carol" had a year theater-to-video gap.

It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. It was ok. It had a good, moody atmosphere, and decent effects for its modest budget, but the film felt too rushed, and the dialogue was atrocious. As well, some of the actors weren't fit for the part (looking at you Mr. Perlman, though I still love Hellboy.)
It sucked, i WANTED to like it but it was so bad. It was delayed a long time and the early teasers showed promise but it was just lacking. I wish it had SOME tension or some scares but it was pretty boring. It wasnt even campy.
My friend really liked this movie. Then again, he has the c**ppiest taste in movies. Will rent to make my final judgement.
