Meh. I bet these stories are incredibly original and unique, but they just never stood out to me. The last anime-type film that I saw was something with 'Delivery Service' in the title. It was about a girl and her cat..
I really want to see this one but I guess I will be waiting for its released DVD on May.

Until someone gets it right.
How many times are we going to see this same story ?
I wish I had to. This is one film I really want to see.
I wish I saw this in theaters when it was in my area.

You're right, it wasn't bad. I've just never preferred them to the original Japanese language tracks. At least this one didn't replace my favorite voice with Billy Crystal.

A really good Studio Ghibli film... I had a hard time believing Miyazaki did NOT direct this. I'm in for that combo too.
And I'm glad those Ghibli releases have full-blown color disc artwork. But that's probably a contractual agreement too.

This is a very good animated film from Studio Ghibli, but even for a Ghibli DVD/BD release the extras are pretty thin. Not even a subtitled interview or anything from the behind the scenes except for a lame Disney music video. Oh well, I'll be picking up the BD/DVD combo anyway.
