Sweet!
IT'S A FESTIVUS MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seinfeld
Absolute sweetness.
Festivus for ALLofus!
How many Seasons were there all together? I hope they don't pull a Sex and the City scam where they break up a Season just to get extra cash of out you... ie: Season Six of SATC.
Um, pardon me but...
Am I the only one who's *NEVER* found "Seinfeld" or "Friends" even remotely funny?
yes
Yes Jason...you are indeed the only one who found this un funny. This set is gonna rock!
FINALLY! The greatest show that ever hit television is finally within reach!
...and who the HELL would place the Seinfeld name even remotely NEAR the likes of Friends? The two can't compare in the least. Seinfeld is God; Friends is...nothing.
I like Friends more than Seinfeld.. But I have enough love in my heart for both of them...
So yeah, No "Friends" bashing...

There were 9 seasons in total.
Seinfeld is my #1 show and Friends is my #2 but even so, its like:
1.Seinfeld

I agree with Jason. Seinfeld never made me laugh. Totally lost on me.
I'll take Simpsons or That 70's Show anyday over this.

Definitely picking these seasons up. I think both Seinfeld and Friends were funny so I'm not gonna say which is the better of the two. They're both two different styles of comedy ...but if you're truly looking for the funniest show to hit TV then it's gotta be The Family Guy.
Seinfeld sucks.
"Friends" wouldn't even exist if it weren't for "Seinfeld"
Seinfeld is my religion this is done
This show, like "The Simpsons" and "Friends" is on television at least once every day of the week and will continue that way long after we are tired watching them. Even though I truly love all of these shows, I just can't understand why anyone would need to buy them. It looks like there will be 8 sets (season 1 &2 combined) of Seinfeld costing somewhere in the range of $500 to own them all. A couple of meaningless extra minutes and some extra stand-up material and commentaries are not enough to spend hundreds of dollars on season sets when you own TIVO.
The cover's are kinda lame. I know I'm being nit-picky but the blue color ain't cutting it for me. And since seasons 1, 2 & 3 are all blue I'd assume that means the rest of the seasons will be too. Blech. Was hoping for a sharp-looking black case myself. But whatever, better then no Seinfeld at all...
GREAT ART!!!!!
I love the art! I'm definitely getting this when it comes out! It will be the best! So great! Probably my favorite show of all time! Friends great, but doesn't compare! I'M SO EXCITED! IT'S A FESTIVUS MIRACLE!
This show is great, but I don't know if I will buy yet. Artwork for them can be much better. Twilight zone, Family Guy, and The Simpsons are the greatest shows ever!!!
Oh, I knew there was something else bothering me with those covers. They're also wearing the same clothes in both season sets. Obviously from the same shoot, but does that mean we're basically gonna see them exactly the same in different poses for the future seasons? I mean how many different variations in close-ups and poses can they do for 6 more boxes without being repetitive? I liked the Friend's DVD boxes in atleast they had updated photos of the cast for that particular year.
Love the show but man the coverart sucks.
Cover Fart
I agree with Curt about the cover art...just way too plain, and I hate the border. The amount of stuff included in the giftset looks awesome, though. Sadly, I never really watched this show before, but I love "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Perhaps I'll bum this set off of a friend when it comes out and then see if I'll buy it.
I know that people will buy these, but is it really worth it? You can catch the show several times every day on TBS and FOX.
cool

I'm not saying I'm going to be buying these, I'm undecided as of right now, but a couple things:
1) These won't cost $500. You will most likely be able to find each set for $35 or less, so I doubt it would cost $300 for the entire series.
2) This is hardly "a few meaningless extras". As they say above, each set will have over TWELVE hours of extras! That's nothing to sneeze at. And for hardcore fans, having the original running time for each episode instead of the 2-3 minutes that are cut for syndication, that's an important thing.
