Same cover that's been used on all of the UK releases.

Really? That's a damn shame.

That cover's amazing. It was also the poster art for the majority of the world except for the US.

"They aim to misbehave"? WTH is that all about? Nice way to devalue the image of a really good sci-fi flick.
Mal says "I aim to misbehave" in the movie so that tagline makes sense.

stupid question: Is this region free? I'm looking at the back cover but it doesn't seem to say any regions. Am I to take it as it indeed being region free?
I prefer the US cover to this one. Either way, it's a great movie. I can't wait for this rare Triple-dip.
Does this have the same extras as the US bluray ?
All Universal BDs are coded for all regions.
Released 5th January 2008?
Anyway, good to see the UK are getting the extras on the more recent R1 Special Edition, I really want to listen to that new commentary.

i heard theyre bringin Serenity on blu ray in the US somewhere around January 20th so I'll just wait for that one, hopefully with better cover art. That art makes it look like theres a scene where River does interpretive dance..with weapons.
There is.
the us release is on december 30th, check out www.thehdroom.com for artwork

You're right! I forgot about that. At least that makes sense to me now.

On of the few movies I may double dip for BD high def - I see the series is about to be released on BD as well...
Great! Can't wait for this one. My must have
I wish they were making another one.
Or even better, more Firefly!
