definitely one clever satire of action movies.
great flick! funny as hell, full of over the top action and just all around awesome! cant wait to pick it up
Another good Clive Owen flick that didn't make any money. What's the deal?
No Blu-ray? Hmmm.
One of the worst movies I've seen this year....but in a brainless good way.
It reminded me of the Simpsons episode when Homer gets a gun, and uses it for everyday things like opening a beer or turning the lights off.

Three words..."Children of Men"

Over the top Comedy/Action, but it did it well.
Shame New Line doesn't do more HD's...This would look badass.
P.S. - Of all the cool action scenes in the movie, why are Monica Bellucis eyes the banner? They show her age. Let's go one more time for another body part.

I'm praying for an unrated HD DVD, hell the R-rated version on HD DVD will be awesome enough! This movie was pure awesomeness. It makes "300" and "Crank" cry in comparison.

True, but I'm basing my comparison on the fact that they're both highly anticipated action movies from this year and they're both over-the-top and comic-booky in their violence.

Ahhh yes....Violent indeed.
I love that Shoot Em Up took itself seriously even though the action was waaay far out there and unrealistic. It made it funny.
My favorite quote that had me & the theater laughing "Man, do we suck, or is he that good."

Shoot 'Em Up anticipated? I can agree 300 was a highly anticipated film for 2007 but Shoot 'Em Up was just something that came to pop up right when it was being released.

This is one badass movie!
I really dug it in theaters, but I'm not sure I'm gonna enjoy it as much at home, there's not much in it to demand a repeat viewing.

This is from blu-ray.com:
"New Line Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti action film 'Shoot 'Em Up' to Blu-ray on January 1st. Extras will include a commentary track, deleted scenes, and the documentary "Ballet of Bullets: Making 'Shoot 'Em Up'". As this is a new release, it will remain Blu-ray exclusive until the theatrical run is over."
Sounds very strange to me that it would be a blu-ray exclusive. What exactly do they mean by "will remain Blu-ray exclusive until the theatrical run is over" Are they gonna release it right now, while it's playing in theaters or what????
Ok, so i see now, it's no longer playing in theaters, but that only makes it more strange, does it not?
"will remain Blu-ray exclusive until the theatrical run is over"
What the hell are they talking about? So as it's no longer playing it's no longer blu-ray exclusive? *hehe*

Haha, yeah, sorry about that. I meant that that episode, and overall season was the starting point of the decline of the quality of The Simpsons.

Shoot Em Up is better than Crank. Shoot Em Up was fun.
Let's wait to see what the art will look like!
I imagine Monica Bellucci's tits will feature heavily.
This looked terrible
