I thought this already existed. I guess..... not?
This DOES already exist! I have seen it multiple times!
It does indeed, but the package artwork looks different on this one. Pass!!
Nice! The huge packaging on the old set always turned me off (limited shelf space here). This set looks similar in design to the Rome set coming later this year. I'd definitely pick this one up over the gigantic one.
I've noticed that Seasons 1 and 2 are not in widescreen (or at least that's the way they have been released in the past). Is this how those two seasons were broadcast? Man, I wish the whole set was widescreen.
Secondly, when are we going to get a blu-ray version?

I own the bigger box and this is the exact same design and content, just slimmed down for less shelf real estate as Wyndam stated.
does this mean a blu-ray announcement is coming? do it warner! I NEED this on Blu!
It's the same thing, but it looks smaller tho. Kind of like how they change the packaging for other TV shows. They changed 24 a few times, House season 1 and 2 around the time season 3 came out, and a few others I can't think of. It's the same as http://www.boulevardmovies.com/images/P/six-fee... but smaller, as you can see.
I already have the original box-set and I think I'm gonna stick with that one...
Wish this was around when I bought the big bulk set. I think they're cashing in on the success of True Blood. It'll probably come with a "From The Creators Of" sticker.
How come Warner are releasing this? It's an HBO series, and the artwork still shows HBO on the spine.
Just because a show is on a certain channel doesn't mean it's produced by that company. I believe Lionsgate produces Weeds which airs on Showtime. At least the DVDs of Weeds are released on Lionsgate. And Dexter is released on Paramount.

HBO is part of the Time Warner family if i'm correct...which of course owns all things Warner.

Wow, they already have one like this. So theres no point in re-releasing it unless you put it on Blu-Ray.

Exactly. So...where is the Blu-ray announcement?
