I have always enjoyed the story of Ichabod Crane and The Headless Horseman. This is one of my favorite Tim Burton movies.Always a fun watch around Halloween or anytime. I particularly love the attention to detail and the sets. Naturally Depp, Ricci and Walken are fantastic.

Back to basics with their Blu-ray collection, though a bad start to re-release an already released Paramount title on Blu-ray, well atleast this lets us know that already Paramount is doing it quick. Hoping to see There Will Be Blood on BD.
By the way I own the HD DVD version of Sleepy Hollow and in no way will I rebuy it on Blu.
P.S why bother using the same artwork from the back cover of the SD DVD? Specially since that silver/greyish bar looks terrible.

A good movie but not worth the double dip
so if this is the exact same thing, why bother re-releasing it? dont get me wrong, its a good movie and since i never bought it in any format, i'll gladly pick this up but its just weird.
no new features or re-done picture and/or sound? instead of having a new release date and all that hoopla, why not just send copies to the stores to add to their stock?

What? No remastered picture?
I'd pick that up. Love this film, can't wait for when they release it on Blu-ray over here. One of the films I would upgrade.
Paramount are obviously keen to advertise their return to Blu-ray after ditching it for HD DVD, so sneaking a few copies into stores without promoting it would be stupid. As for remastering, I'm fairly sure that would have already been done when it was originally released.
Hope Paramount go region free with their titles.
I can't see any indication on the back sleeve to suggest that this is only region A.
