The 6-disc package will be available to own from the 9th September, and should retail at around $59.98. Each of the episodes will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include a Supergirl featurette, a Jimmy on Jimmy featurette, and Smallivlle Legends Mobisodes. A Blu-ray release will also be available for $79.98. Won't be bothering with this. "Smallville" has turned into "24" by becoming the most repetitive show on TV. Oh look, Clark is kidnapped and made sick with kryptonite. Oh look, Lex and Clark stare and each other and have a lame exchange of empty threats. Boring.
Well, for those of you in the UK, there are plenty of torrent sites you can download the episodes. I think the CW has them on their website.
As for Lex and Clark staring at each other, that is done. Michael Rosenbaum is not returning. Alison Mack might not either, and they wrote out Lana if Kristen decides not to return. The creators left the show, too. SO, he might actually fly this season. That would be AWESOME. Season 8 is the end for me if it does not improve. But with the groundwork laid out in the finale, season eight could be the start of a whole new show.

This is incorrect, the last shot we saw of Kara was her stuck in the Phantom Zone. So I'm guessing that's where Brainiac stuck her.

I agree, that shirt looks really weird, it's like it's part of the Superman outfit but without the S logo. Weird. You're right about the phantom zone btw. Kara's stuck in the phantom zone, not on Krypton.

I never watched this show. Then again I never watched any WB show except for the Kids WB stuff. I never watched any of the UPN shows either. The CW just seems to contain old WB dramas, UPN comedies, and c**ppy original programs. About the only show on the CW I was interested in watching this past season was Reaper and I ended up missing every episode. Now it's canceled. Oh well.

I agree, if he aint got the big red cape and bright red boots he aint superman (but then again you can't better George Reeves and Christopher Reeve anyway).

I wanted to like this season, but it turns out I only enjoyed about four episodes and found the rest incredibly dull. For the first time, I won't be buying the show. 
I just preordered this on Amazon for $41.99. This was the only season I watched on the CW and I really liked it. When I can get on the HD bandwagon I might get a BD player and get the complete series on BD. I will need a lot more $$$ to do this though.
I need to watch season 7. I finally watched season 6 on DVD two months ago.

Repetitive and boring??? My goodness, some of you are being really petty & nit picky on this show. This and 24 are still some of the best television on right now. I thought this was a good season despite the writer's strike. At least they managed to complete 20 of 22 episodes.

I love the show - but they should of change the name of the show to "Metropolis" with Season 5 and Clark Kent should be wearing glasses by now (Warner Bros are too vain)!

They haven't really said much, but he's a 20-something bartender that wakes up every morning covered in blood and guts, and realises he's had past lives.
Haven't even finished S7 on DVD (have like 8 episodes left)...I must say, S7 is the best season after S3...and yes, the blue shirt looks random...

I think the best season of Smallville is 5 by far; the 100th episode, "Reckoning", is amazing, and James Marsters rules. Also, it has the 2nd coolest package art (s1 has the coolest).
This season (7) was only better than season 4, in my opinion. Season 4 was just not good; Jensen Ackles was good, probably 2 of my favorite episodes of the whole show are "Unsafe" and "Pariah", and Lois was a welcome addition, but the whole main story arc with the witches and whatnot was horrible. All in all, I'd say season 5 is the best, and 4 & 7 are the worst. The first three and 6 are all decent enough (though I HATED evil-esque Lana in 6).
The one thing I hate more than anything, though, are the Smallville season finales, though. Poorly orchestrated cliffhangers... why? The show is usually pretty damn good, why do they always have to end on such low notes?

So getting this because of the Supergirl story line in this season and I'll be picking this up on Blu-ray plus I missed most of the season.
