Oh I believe you Dumb. I also believe some Hollywood ass hattery would try to make a link between the 2 films.
All I'm saying is, I hope not and it's a bad idea.

Hahaha...sorry, my bad. Maybe you don't get it, but I was being sarcastic up there.
Still, I'm not entirely kidding about Soldier-Blade Runner relationship. You see, a "spinner" vehicle from Blade Runner was making a cameo in Soldier by being among the garbage in that garbage planet. Even Blade Runner co-scriptwriter, David Peoples, acknowledge their relation. Not that I'm happy about it.
Note:
Btw, Wikipedia also confirms it in their "Soldier" page if you don't believe me.

1) I hope not.
2) No it wouldn't.
3) Again, hope not.
This is an unholy stink of a movie. Every time I try and give a WS Anderson movie a go, it just ends up being an exercise in ticking of the better films he's just ripped off shots from.
The words Blade Runner and Soldier should never again be this close in a sentence.

There never will be a director's cut. Anderson delayed shooting so he could wait for Kurt Russell and shot Event Horizon instead. After Event Horizon bombed, the studio took over and the only version shot was theirs.
I would love to read the original script if anyone has a link to it.

crud movie...end of. Kurt needs to sign up to The Expendables 2...with Arnold!
It looks like Warner is launching a new blu-ray series: The Landfill Collection! Because that is all titles like "Soldier" and "Red Planet" are good for: landfill.
kurt russle was great, as usual, but the movie was poo.
If it was the director's cut I'd definitely look into purchasing it.
Blimey!
