Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a collector's edition of Some Like It Hot which stars Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemmon. The two-disc collector's edition will be available to own from the 18th July, and should retail at around $24.96. Extras will include a new full length commentary featuring interviews with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and more, a Making of Some Like It Hot documentary, a Legacy of Some Like It Hot documentary, a “Nostalgic Look Back” With Tony Curtis, and a “Memories of the Sweet Sues” The All-Girl Band Featurette. Completing the package will be a “Virtual Hall of Memories” feature, an original pressbook gallery, an 8-page collectible booklet, and postcards. Artwork is attached:

I love that Sony is releasing these great 2-disc special editions of all these classic films! I cant wait to see what else is next! Hopefully, The Graduate!!!

Great artwork, Sony is doing a good job with MGM's library. But where is the unrated edition titled Some Like It Hot'ter', lol. Haha, boy would that be funny.

You gotta love that cover. I don`t have the past releases so I`m definately picking this up. I too hope the Graduate is up next for the 2 disc SE treatment.

Anybody know whether this version will be anamorphic enhanced for widescreen TV? The last 2 dip were in 1.85 widescreen and not anamorphic enhance!

I HAVE TO pick this up!
The new color is better. Yellow was way too bright and the contrast was too extreme between Monroe and the background.
Going with the gold was a very wise choice. The yellow was way to bright.
I preferred the yellow.
