animation ALWAYS looks better on blu ray

And is the transfer on Blu for The Simpsons Movie worth the upgrade from DVD?
I have caught South Park here and there on TV and DVD and enjoy it for what it is, but I would never invest in any of the seasons on DVD, let alone Blu-ray.

What I'm most excited about with this set is the fact that it has some actual extras other than just the mini-commentaries. If I remember correctly, only the first season set has had anything more than that. I'll be really interested to see the "About Last Night" feature and see how that episdoe came together.
I hate when they release a Blu-ray version for a show in a newer season so all of the other seasons they have to update.
I can't believe it's getting a Blu-Ray release. I only have seasons 1 and 2, so I won't be getting this for a while.

I do find South Park a give and take senario...
Full screen and stereo sound, a must on blu-ray!
I can't imagine so, seeing as they haven't used construction paper since the very first episode.
Anywho, I picked up the HD-DVD of the Good Times With Weapons back when Best Buy had those. It looked better, obviously, but nothing amazing.

So will the blu-ray actually let you see the construction paper texture and safety scissor cut marks?? I'm a little curious, but not $40 curious.
I'm very curious to see this in HD, because the transfer on the movie DVD was fantastic, but the show DVDs have been lackluster so far.. I'll probably just Netflix it to get a glimpse of the quality.
Blu Ray huh? Would be weird for South Park.
south park on bluray doesnt seem worth it to me
About half of this series was excellent, with the rest fair to middling. Still, I guess it must be damn hard to keep coming up with ideas for new shows.
