this show is fantastic
Be interesting to see a new take on Spartacus, but I can't imagine it being nearly as iconic as Kubrick's version.

Must be why America loved it, lol

I want to see the show.
I asked nicely the first time, but it didn't work. I've already had three complaints about this thread, so give it a rest.

They can, however, appeal to certain demographics. Spartacus, for example, appeals to blundering imbeciles who become easily flustered when faced with people who don't share their opinion.
Your giving it more credit by coming back and keeping it on discussion. When you should just save the time and keep quiet. You don't like the show we dont need to keep reading your BS about it! Ummmmm you were OBVIOUSLY making it seem like shows DO have sexual preferences. It explains how more ironic, stubborn and assh*le someone can be.

Could we put an end to the squabbling now? Thanks so much.
I liked the first episode a lot! Then again I never liked it enough to watch the second episode. (Maybe one day...)

The words derived from practically any high-schooler and/or dropouts. Forget the rip-off styles of '300' and 'Gladiator' and enjoy the show on its own right!! Bunch of freaking whiners!
I tuned into the season finale to "enjoy the show on its own right" and thought it was awful. And don't give me any "You would think any show is awful if all you saw was its finale!" baloney. One doesn't need to sit through an entire season to be able to tell the acting is godawful, the action is subpar, and the narrative is effed beyond belief. If you sat through every episode with the only thought drifting through the empty corridors of your mind concerning your desire to see even more, congratulations -- you are definitely in the target audience.
As far as I can tell, the only people who would derive any satisfaction from this series are men who have yet to come to terms with their sexuality (and want an outwardly heterosexual outlet for their frustration) and, now that you mention it, high school dropouts who are too dumb to know any better.
Thats how low of a person you are, pity. Now all the sudden shows have sexual preferences marked in them. For Heterosexual and for Homosexuals, Hahahaha. You're right, you are smart. Your insecurity still hunts you but your still very much heterosexual, you dont care so much for the show, neither do you like to come back and flame people that like the show and keep attacking them in comments. It explains you don't like the show........"at all". The show might be for 'closeted homosexuals' but then how does it explains why your so concerned about it and you keep coming back and backing up the show by commenting here.

This serie is pretty much laughable because it's so over the top, if you ask me.

It basically can be summed up to this: Half naked oily dudes + totally naked sex slaves doing handjobs during c**ppy dialogs + cheap version of 300 effects while fighting + some more sex slave action, sometimes with fighting and said special effects included.

She does. Several times during the season, I might add.

Heard Lucy Lawless gets naked in it. And it has that "THIS IS MADNESS!!" guy from 300. Sold. Might take a chance on the Blu-ray set.....
It really is sex and violence mixed with overacting, and it really does rip off 300 and Gladiator's visual styles...
...but that's kind of the point...
...and I kind of like it.
Though honestly 'haters'? You haven't even seen the show and you're calling people 'haters'? Do people still say 'haters'?

Speaking as someone who has seen the show from the very first episode, it IS completely amazing. Watching the show is like watching an awesome swords-and-sandals mini-movie. You can't help but be hooked. Looked very lame. Wont be bothering with it. Ive tried to watch it on TV several times and thought it was boring.
I can only imagine its target audience is comprised entirely of closeted homosexuals.

Nothing special. Mix together 300 with a tiny bit of Rpme, bit of occasional sexy nudity and some bad acting. Also some shotty visual fx because you have to have visual fx. The plot didn't keep me wishing to see another episode.
I can't wait for this. It's the perfect thing to hold me over until the prequel miniseries or second season airs.
It's 300 the TV series!
