Why does a film need to be R-rated or gory for you to like it...?
The film is actually going to be getting a very short, limited theatrical run right before it debuts on DVD according to ShockTillYouDrop.com.

Looked good from the preview on the HATCHET DVD, but mainly because of Amber Tamblyn. It could end up being stupid too. At the time I didn't know that Adam Green directed it, and I don't like him. Spending time on his message board I saw what an immature person he was. He seems into himself, like Eli Roth, and HATCHET was nothing special at all. It's highly overrated.
Amber Tamblyn? EW!!!!!!!!!!
I didnt know adam green was in hatchet...
I wish this would have gotten even a limited theatrical release.
I haven't watched hatchet yet but this has a cool front cover.
