This looked pretty frickin sweet. However, I won't buy it unless there is a blu-ray, which it doesn't appear to have.
I'm glad they are releasing this so soon. I'm definitely going to pick this up. Magnolia is releasing some pretty great movies.
I'm buying this on Comcast. I will die if I don't see Splinter.
i really wish they'd use the poster instead.
this is a great movie. i watched it online (yes it leaked online a month ago). it's a small movie but it's big on suspense and the creature and the gore is spot on. one thing many people didn't like is whenever the creature attacks, the filming is VERY shaky cam. that's the only complaint i have. i'll definitely pick this up.
oh, i forgot, this cover art SUCKS ASS. it does nothing to convey what the movie is about.

will pick this up hopefully walmart will get it on dvd for sale if not it will be hard to find.
I've heard great things about this one. Will be renting it. I just hate the cover art. It makes it look like a bad, cheap Direct-to-DVD flick. They should have used the poster art.
I hope there's actually a commentary too.
the thing is it's not like the creature has a distinct form. what's nasty (wonderfully!) about the creature is what it does to the victim it's inhabiting's body. in one scene it's taken over a deceased person's body and it's trying to get into the store to attack the survivors. it literally uses the body as a battering ram and keeps ramming it against the doors. every time destroying/gorying up the body. VERY GNARLY (in an awesome way!).
Ahh shaky cam - who ever invented it should be shot! When they use it to substitute poor action scenes.....
It really gets my goat.

Worst Nightmare, i agree w/ you %100. be prepared for EVERY creature attack in this to be shaky cam'd. i still loved the movie. it's a definite throwback (in an awesome way) to movies like "The Thing".
horrible artwork. ive seen the movie and i have no idea whats going on on this cover. really really bad
