Everyone has been talking about this movie since its inception. Somehow, I'm morbidly curious to see this movie. I don't know what it is but I want to see this out of weird reasons beyond all rational thought.

Movie Dude, i agree! LOL. i haven't paid attention to this movie but i sort of recall reading/hearing lots of brou·ha·ha over it. i don't see myself ever watching it but i'm a tad curious about it....kindasorta.
This movie sucked all it was a bunch of girls who can't act anyway stars in a R rated movie that is .Yes the movie is violent but it's stupid and lame I'll pass
I can't lie, I actually really enjoyed this one. But I don't think I've ever seen a movie where an entire theater completely hated it. People had no idea what they were getting into, clearly not knowing about Harmony Korine's style. He described it as being a "liquid narrative" that is like watching a "violent pop poem" on screen--and that's exactly what you get. I'll definitely check it out again but still unsure about buying. Would've liked a combo pack.
wow, a whole 3 part documentary? not bad for such a small movie that didn't do entirely well. i mean assuming that combines into a feature length doc and isnt simply 3 10min segments, it puts the extras on the all the non iron man marvel movies from "phase one" to shame.
At first, this film disappointed me. With the praise (not faint, not gargantuan, just simple praise) it was getting, I expected this to be really, REALLY good because movies of this caliber usually score in the 20's, if that. After a second round, this movie gives you an entirely different experience, but visceral and emotional. I don't know, for those that don't like it, see it a second time. At first, the movie's very awkward and doesn't seem all that cohesive. I will say though all leads gave a great performance.
I think I am more interested in the other movie covering almost the same type of subject matter (The Bling Ring with Emma Watson).
Not a single one of those girls is a decent actress.
One of the year's best movies so far. Anyone who didn't like it was obviously expecting a more "party comedy" ala Project X or The Hangover, or simply had no idea what they were walking into. It's a dark comedy-drama with a few splashes of action and partying.
James Franco is absolutely amazing.

well considering the ads made it look like a "party comedy", those people couldnt be blamed for expecting that. i only know it wasnt because of the internet stuff i've read but to most people, this was an out of nowhere movie so all they had to judge was the trailers. and of course sometimes those things do a bad job of conveying what a movie is.

I can't get over how dirty Vanessa Hudgens looks these days. Pure filth. Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing you understand.
