On August 2nd, Dark Sky Films and IFC Midnight will release Stake Land as: DVD, two-disc DVD and Blu-ray Disc editions. In this film, a "vampiric scourge sweeps the nation, turning brother on brother and parent on child as the blood-hungry beasts take deeper and deeper hold upon the land". Extra features on the single DVD release include: a commentary with the cast, a commentary with the crew and a trailer. For the other two releases extras encompass: a making-of, a director's preproduction diary, storyboards of visual effects and a Q&A.
