What an appalling thing. They should be more humane like the Al-Qaeda guys who beheaded Nick Berg, the South Korean who was begging for his life,et.al. The lack of gratitude towards our troops is utterly disgusting.

This was well reviewed. I'm open to a viewing.

I'm willing to bet you haven't seen the film. Am I right?

It's hard to argue moral superiority over your enemy when you treat prisoners in such a way. Especially when such behaviour only helps your enemy, especially in the area of recruitment. There's gratitude and then there's turning a blind eye to unacceptable behaviour.
It's completely illogical to treat prisoners badly simply because your enemy lacks grace. How you treat people, even prisoners, reflects directly on you and your society. If this is the society that you are holding up as an example of something to strive for (which is another conversation altogether), then what does it say about it if it picks and chooses which people to treat respectfully?

I wanted to see Taxi To The Dark Side more. This looked pretty good though.
I agree with you completely highdough. Unfortunately government and logic rarely go hand n hand.Especially nowadays.

So because they do it, your troops should too? People like you give Americans a bad name.

Cool artwork, very keen to see this. cdrag just sounds like an asshole.
This sounds like a good documentary. I have never heard of it before, but the synopsis is interesting. I have noticed that many companies are pushing people to switch to Blu-ray by including more features than the standard DVD. And not just features that can only be used on the format. Featurettes, extra deleted scenes, etc. Just look at Beowulf, Be Kind Rewind, and now this. I'm still buying standard DVDs for the simple fact that I'm 17 and my family doesn't have the money to buy a flatscreen LCD T.V. and a Blu-ray player. Some day though.
Might get it.
The whole situation just proves my personal credo - the only good terrorist is a dead terrorist.
That said, I haven't seen the movie or really want to but when I typed the bit above I did it with a Schwarzenegger accent in my head, and thats cool. Reallllly cool.

It's Errol Morris so that instantly gets a must purchase. I haven't yet seen this one, but if it's as good as Fog Of War or Thin Blue Line then I'll be satisfied. Regardless, it'll be better than a fair few documentaries out there.
