How Photoshopped do those heads look?
"How Photoshopped do those heads look?"
First thing that came to my mind, too. Awful.

i guess they ditched the fan voting? i recall a few weeks back they were asking fans to vote between two covers...i swear this one wasnt an option, or maybe i'm remembering wrong.
but yeah the photoshop is pretty bad. and the black guy and asian girl are just reeeeeally bad, the angles of their heads dont really fit properly. at least the other three match, its still obviously photoshop but the angle works.
so that just leaves DS9 and Voyager now. not sure if Paramount feels they'd be worth the trouble and money since they'd have to do what they did to TNG but yeah...3 outta 5 ain't bad.

Oh, we forgot to mention that the cover is ghastly; we hope that the textures of faces don't look like that on the transfers...

Forget looking photoshopped, just look at T'Pol's head. It looks like the designers only had one side of her face and decided to mirror it in order to complete her head.
That cover art certainly has The Wrong Stuff...

yep, they ditched the fan voting and went for this cover that wasn't even one of the covers available for voting. huh?!
Did they not have any publicity photos of Hoshi and Mayweather? Looks like they have just used screen captures or something! I am not normally bothered by cover art but that is just embarrassing! I really hope the UK gets better art. Y'know like the ones that we originally voted for.
$130.00? ...why are Star Trek always so expensive? :-(
If they made it a little more snazzy and at a better price, they could entice new Star Trek fans into buying this, as it's the only series set in the same universe as the new movies, instead of just die-hards. Market it as the prequel to the new movies. Oh well.

That was just the producers arrogantly thinking that they didn't need the "Star Trek" prefix to hang the show on. They changed that eventually...
