I wonder what they mean by Director's cut.  I'm not trying to sound stupid obviously, I know the general definition of Director's cut is.  I'm just interested in what these directors cuts will be like.

i liked this and would get it but i'm a sucker for complete collections and i rather wait the 4/5yrs and just get a complete series thingy.

unless of the course the ratings dip and its cancelled and they just release all they have early.

I hope that the episodes are in chronological order and not broadcast order. The Hidden Enemy obviously took place right before the movie.

I saw the first 3-4 episodes and then tuned out. The movie was ok, but like the prequels, this does not have much of a replay value. I haven't yet bought the prequels. Still hoping for the 40th anniversary editions, now that the 30th anniversary edition went by without anything!

At the Star Wars Comic-con panel the creator mentioned that when the episodes are completed they are sometimes 2-3 minutes too long for broadcast TV. That is where they are getting the seven directors cut episodes from.

I was thinking about waiting for a Complete Series big old box set but I imagine it will cost a fortune and some of the artwork include in the season sets will probably omitted.  Being a fan just about anything Star Wars, I'm down with this.  Caught most of the episodes but just didn't.

Looks like we're gonna need a biggie bookshelf!

I haaate digibooks, but now I'll finally have to buy one. Damn. Loved this season though (a lot more than the movie), so I must have it.

They'll most likely re-instate "hell" in the "Rookies" episode, right? Some dumb parents complained when the initial airings included the word, so it was removed from later airings. *rolls eyes*

Umm, yes, but that's what you call a flashback episode.  But in any case, that was the only episode of the 22 that was like that, so to say, "I hope the episodes are in chronological order" is a bit ridiculous especially when the original movie will probably won't be included anyway.  So here's what you do...watch "Hidden Enemies" first...then watch the movie...then watch the rest of the series...problem solved.

What are you talking about?  They're fitting 6 discs in single amarray cases these days for full season TV shows.  A disc on each outer flap, and then two double-sided flaps in the in middle.

That's too bad that you tuned out.  The series got better and better as it went along.  In fact, Season 2 looks to be amazing.  Much more darker with the emergence of the Bounty Hunters, which made their debut in the Season One finale as well as the Mandalorians.

Huh?  You didn't know it came out?  You mean, ever aired?  Geez...if that's so, what rock you been living under?  Started airing last October.  Season 2 starts airing this coming October.

Actually because I don't Like George Lucas: horrible writing,  over bloated universe, new editions every other year and digitally re-writing the entire movie in post production cus he cannot direct. Silly L6E painting everything politically.

And of course b*****dizing green screen.

Why do people have a problem with Lucasfilm making money?  It's a legimate film studio as any other is.  So why single them out?  You wouldnt say, "Don't give Warner/Paramount/Fox/Universal any more money."  

Lucasfilm makes product to market and sell.  That's the American way, unless you're a Obamamaniac...where you believe everyone should give their money to the government for it to decide how to spend it.

Oh, just because YOU don't like Lucas' writing, you don't think they deserve monetary compensation from those who accept it or at least ambivalent to it?  

Have you heard of the free market?  If somebody makes something to sell, but people don't buy it, then that person/entity fails.  But if enough people do buy it, then the entity succeeds.  


I don't particulary care for Joss Whedon's work.  But I don't go around saying, "Don't give Joss any more money."  Why?  Because it's not for me to decide.  I'm not everyone.  Everyone has their own choice to make.  No one is forcing anyone to buy anything...oh wait, well maybe Obama is with his Obamacare, but that's besides the point.
