Very nice! It's the more expensive film, so hopefully it lives up to expectation.
Is this also technically a continuation of season 10 along with the last DTV release since Samantha Carter is now on the Atlantis expedition?
Carter was only on Atlantis for one season (S4). And I think this is set afterwards.
Yeah I know Carter is leaving after episode 1 of season 5, but I thought the SG-1 expedition was over....although I have never seen an episode of SG-1. I thought I heard these 2 DTV releases are a continuation of season 10.
Ok, I need that cover as a poster in my room NOW!
that's odd...the stargate is different for each cover, at first i thought it was just the glowing details but even the writing on it is different...but aside from that, its the same cover....strange
dose any one know if the blu-ray is region free
A lot better artwork than the first time around with the Ark of Truth. A definate buy.
Plot sounds VERY close to Star Trek:First Contact's time travel shenanigans.

They should fix that, and also get rid of the period at the end of the tagline.

Essentially they were made to finish as many story arks as they couls - sort of like Farscape with the movie Peacekeeper Wars....
Revised artwork added. Unless the other cover will be used for a slip cover or something.
They both look great. Kinda prefer the space one. The new one reminds me of The Day After Tomorrow. Having the space cover as the slip cover would be a good idea though.
Just finishing up season 9 (watched all 9 seasons in the past 6 months. And yes I bought them) Just one more season then the 2 movies, Then off to Altantis. I know no one cares, I just thought I'd share.....

I prefered the original. It gave a more epic feeling to the movie's cover
I think the original regular DVD cover is the slip-cover, because it looks like a box, as opposed to a Amaray disk sleeve.
I'm not sure what's going on now. The 'revised' artwork has now been replaced with the one I posted originally!
Why can't they give us 7.1?
I am starting to sound like a broken record....

More revised artwork added. Pretty sure this will be the last change! (Hopefully)
Hopefully? This is worse! The original artwork is the best.

hey, its always fun to watch a full series beginning to end on dvd like that. i gotta say though you make me realize how little a life i have. it took you 6 months to watch 9 seasons? i watched all 5 seasons of Alias within one month...man, i need a hobby or something.
oh and on the cover topic...
instead of releasing stuff to the press and what not, only to then send revised artwork...why dont they wait til they decide on final art before showing anyone?

They give us great artwork and then they screw it up by giving us this c**ppy looking revised artwork? Ohwell... Can't wait to see this movie!
I prefer the ones without the credits on the top....
