I'm sad to see this show was cancelled. It kept getting better and better

I agree with that, the last ten episodes seemed to get better and better. I know people were looking forward to a Blu-ray of this, it's a shame it's been cancelled or at least postponed.
I'm waiting for the Atlantis set to come down a bit first though.

I'm a little pissed off that season 2 of this brilliant but short-lived series isn't getting a release on BD. 
I watched the first season on BD and it looked terrific so the thought of having to watch the remainder of the series with inferior picture and sound just depresses me. So for now I've decided to record the second season off the repeats on Sky 1 HD which start next week and I'll wait in the hope that season 2 will eventually get released on BD (and preferably not as a double season pack only!).
@chip75 - Do what I did and import Stargate Atlantis as it is region-free and costs half what the UK version does.
I watched the first season on BD and it looked terrific so the thought of having to watch the remainder of the series with inferior picture and sound just depresses me. I don't watch this series because my now don't interesting sci fi series,maybe after four years i again will be watch sci fi about space and i buy this dvd release but now don't.
