Are they finished with the art, it comes out tomorrow!!
I'm the only one who actually thinks the cover has potential...it's good, it's interesting. It isn't like all others, I like it and hope they stick with their idea.
Horrible cover. A horror film about a video game that comes to life hhmmm... I've seen this movie before, It was called "Brain Scan". Not that It's any better than this piece of horse manure.
For those who care, the unrated cut includes "an entirely new character and subplot."
Well, I actually like the Unrated cover art. I think the reason why is because of the touchup image on the bottom. Maybe the way it shows the bloody hand reaching for the controller, I don't know. And, for me, this film, for a pg-13 rating wasn't good nor bad. It was just mediocre teeny horror. However, I have read where someone claimed to have seen a rough copy of the unrated dvd. Something to do with working for the company or a company or something. Anyway, he/she said that it does have some good extended deaths. For instance, "SPOILERS", the Sophia Bush throat slash. He/she said that it doesn't cut away or anything. Also, that more blood and gore is shown in the deaths, for instance, the death of that one guys to friends who were sleeping together at the beginning. He/she also said that there's more of a developed story. "END SPOILERS." I had a 50/50 chance of buying the dvd when it was to come out on sale at Circuit City, where they'll probably have it between $13.99-$17.99. But, now that I see they have an unrated version coming out with a full 15 minutes added, I'll definitely be picking this one up to add to my collection. I admit, though I love Oscar Worthies, I also love some simple cheese as well. Happily, though, this time I won't have to hear a 13 year old every 5 minutes saying, "gosh, this is scary," like they did in the theaters.
Bad cover art. I'll check out the unrated version since I didn't see this in theaters. Samaire Armstrong and Frankie Muniz are rather unfortunate looking.
That has to be the c**ppiest coverart ever (the rated version). I guess they wanted to make bad graphics for a bad movie (didn't see it, but I've heard only bad things about it).
I am definitely gonna wait and watch the unrated version because this is the first "horror" movie that has interested me in a long time and it was given a PG-13 in theaters and I avoided it because I knew that they'd eventually get an Un-or R-rated version on DVD soon because this movie looked too grisly to have been made PG-13 originally, some heavy duty cutting was made. I am getting the unrated one when it comes out, without a doubt, just better not screw me over like they did on Dark Water (biggest piece of c**p I ever spent money on). And where's the candy dammit?!
Enough already! Hollywood needs to stop with all these c**p horror movies being released every few weeks. Instead of making one after one for cheap, why not take some time and hire some good talent for in front of and behind the camera and actually make some horror movies that rival the classics. Cranking cheap horror movies out quickly may be profitable, but it doesn't mean they are good!
This movie was so bad! I'll rent the unrated version to see how different it is to the PG-13 version, but I'm not expecting much.
Now that`s superb cover art LOL. It looks like( and I hear it is)an utter peice of junk. I`m not going to waste my time.
this was one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. pg-13 horror can be good if you dont profit off horrible ideas and just wanna make money like this one
!!!! its sad I know
!!!! its sad I know
Hideous covers, even if they aren't finalized. The blending of the dreaded floating heads is terrible!
This movie sucked though. I will give the unrated edition a try, but wow, seriously. No blood in this movie AT ALL.

I hate the way Buena Vista use blue and red for rated and unrated editions - its so goddamn annoying... and ugly.
I have not seen this but am waiting for reviews on it first.
Poor Samaire Armstrong... first this then Just My Luck. She really needs to get back on The OC full time. Which isn't saying much, but at least she'd get some snappy banter.
Well, the rated artwork obviously isn't finalised quite yet
It was all Buena Vista provided though, so thought I might as well add it. I'll try and get the final artwork as soon as I can.
the cover art for the rated version looks HORRIBLE!!!
i dont know why they even bother...
im getting the UNRATED edition!!!!
so I guess it comes out on september not august... well... it's not a difference

The ONLY reason to see this is for Samaire Armstrong, she is brillant and I dont even want to know why she was in this! :O
Wow. Frank Muniz and Adam Goldberg. Wowie wowie wow.
