It's basically Training Day but more.Turned out to be an okay movie.Keanu kinda shows some decent acting skills too.I was surprised.

I knew they would pull off a 2-disc. That's the oldest trick in the book. Uh oh it says Fox you know what that means with a 2-disc. DIGITAL COPY.
A good enjoyable film. If you liked Training Day, you should like this. It's better than Harsh Times, with Christian Bale.
I'll go with the 1-disc. I dont really see how extra material for this kind of film could be that riveting.

My favourite film of 2008 thus far. 2-Disc is a must-buy for me.
Blu buy for me. I hope the Blu boxart is the theatrical poster. The white background with the characters on it.
I'm waiting for the announcement that disc 2 is only the Digital Copy. I can't see this release having enough bonus material for 2 discs.

Great movie, seems there's life for Keanu after the Matrix.
I really enjoyed this movie in theaters and will be sure to pick it up. My only complaint about this film had to Forrest Whitaker. Don't get me wrong, the guy is a great actor and I've enjoyed his work for years, but as far as I'm concerned he was practically, dare I say, over acting in a lot of scenes in this movie and it really pulled me out of the experience when he was on screen.

I loved this movie so I'll buy the 1 disc dvd. Shame on Fox for continuing with the stupid digital copy thing. Why should we pay more to get only the digital copy on disc 2 just to get the features all on disc 1. If I wanted the movie on my computer, I'll downloaded on the internet. Plain simple. When will the movie studios stop with the digital copy madness. Digital copy is just like dvd-rom : most of us won't use it.
I dig anything James Ellroy has a hand in... LA Confidential is a pure noir masterpiece. Dark Blue is an underrated classic (to this day, I still don't know how Kurt Russell didn't garner SOME kinda recognition for his conflicted portrayal of Sgt Eldon Perry)...okay, so The Black Dahlia was a tough pill to swallow, but whatever. I suppose you really CAN'T win 'em all... White Jazz, on the other hand, should be another awesome adaptation...
Street Kings is a damn good movie! I'm definitely buying this on Blu-ray! Keanu Reeves was great, Forest Whitaker surprised me with his performance, and Hugh Laurie was a real treat!
I agree about the comment on Whitaker. Major over acting on his part. I thought this was a solid cop movie in the tradition of The Shield and Training Day. If disc 2 is indeed the BS digital copy only thing, then I will only get the 1 disc release.

Easily one of my favorite movies of the year! Really agree on the Whtiker comments, he had me laughing a lot of times.

loved Reeves' performance in this one.
Evans was good in this movie. The Game is a decent rapper-actor. Reeves, can care less for. Whittaker, im tired of seeing his mug in every big movie, Common should be cool in Wanted. Cedric is not mentioned on the DVD.
Didn't think this was better than Training Day or Harsh Times, but it was okay. Didn't care too much for Forest Whitaker's hammy performance. Hugh Laurie basically channeled House, if he was an LAPD Internal Affairs officer.....
So heres my problem, Common was in the movie for 4 minutes. 4. why put him on the cover? thats the same thing that bothered me about the commercial. common has like 3 lines in the whole movie, spanning 4 minutes.
This was an entertaining film, but not what it should have been. It deserves all the comparisons with Training Day and Harsh Times. I would watch this one again before either of the other two. Cover art sucks. The poster was better. But then again, they usually are.
