MPI Home Video and IFC Midnight will be releasing Super on DVD and Blu-ray this coming August 9th. Starring Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler and Kevin Bacon, this 'R' rated dark comedy follows Frank who opts for some do-it-yourself superhero-ing in an attempt to save his wife. Extra features are said to encompass: a general making-of, an opening titles making-of, a college humor short, deleted scenes, a trailer and a TV spot. While a retailer exclusive edition will offer an extra DVD for the Blu-ray release with: extended scenes, director and cast interviews, a comic con discussion, coverage of the SXSW première and a poster gallery.
