I want to see this movie

It's already announced that the DVD comes out July 8, 2008. The extras are:

-Audio commentary by writer/director Craig Mazin and producers David Zucker and Robert K. Weiss

-Deleted scenes

-Alternate ending

-Meet the cast featurette

-The art of spoofing Featurette

Plus I saw the theatrical and unrated artwork one week ago on amazon.com

Even if it's mediocre, or perhaps lame, I doubt anything with The Zuckers on board could be QUITE as bad as the Date/Epic/Spartans garbage produced by the team of Friedberg and Seltzer. For that reason alone, I'd give this a rent.

Parody movies may need to stop, but regardless, these guys were involved with the creation of Airplane! You have to be discerning, and give credit where credit's due -- the ZAZ team and Weiss don't deserve to be punished for Friedberg and Seltzer's blasphemies against cinema.

Spoof movies stopped appearing on my radar shortly after the first Scary Movie. I see the trailers on TV now and my mind immediately tunes out, barely registering a request to yawn.

I was joking, but anyway. I make cover art so I wanted to see the movie's art.

I kinda liked this. It was better than Date Movie, Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans for sure. Still not sure if I'll buy. Oh, and that cover is exactly what I predicted it to be like - the poster, but with TT moved to the top.

Usually I'd agree but seeing as many people said it was only '75 minutes'. I think the extended edition should do an improvement and might include better jokes or crude jokes like Scary Movie.The extras are good but I don't get it. For Oscar movies they have little extras like There will be blood and yet bad movies like Superhero Movie get more extras.

There's a few great moments but overall it's sad to see the people responsible for Naked Gun and Airplane reduced to fart jokes.

The art of spoofing? Thats a quality special feature right there! I know it takes alot of comedic talent to spoof "Vote For Pedro" to "Dont vote for Pedro"

This was actually a good spoof....Can't wait to see the wedgie from the fight scene in the alley...which was cut from the film for some reason

Talk about Epic Movie being categorized as the worst movie ever.

This looked decent from the trailers.  I will give it a rent, but it won't get anything else outta me.

I thought this was pretty funny actually, alot better then MTS/DM/EM which were c**p. I laughed a few times seeing this, I'm curious about the extended version.

I was interested in this a little bit because it looked like a parody of the first Spider-man movie, which I think could use a little parodying.
