Is that Vinnie Jones on the cover?

yep
He's cringingly awful in it. His macho posturing is almost that of parody - you half expect him to come out of character like Ross Kemp does in that episode of Extras (which Vinnie Jones is also in).
The guy's basically a one trick pony. And not a very impressive trick at that.

I have this but have yet to watch.
I own the Japanese two disc and prefer it cover art and all to this upcoming version. I love it so much. I may not understand the special features but it was worth the 40 bucks for the little map connecting everyone. And duh Vinnie Jones is silly but that's because he's supposed to be. It's called intentionally hamming it up like Tom Wilkinson in "Batman Begins." Bodhi, see this movie. Do it. DO it. NOW. I love it. I would write my entree review for this site on it but I wouldn't feel comfortable writing about special features that are without subtitles. Great movie though and one worth owning.

Yes I get that. Only he sticks out like a sore thumb in an already tonally uneven film. He may be over the top, but it is more like a throwing a wildly ADD child into a school play than Tom Wilkinson "hamming it up" in Batman Begins.
Tom Wilkinson is a good actor, by the way, which is why he can get away with wildly overacting. See also Gary Oldman and Al Pacino.

Al Pacino has been wildly overacting for years now. See "Devil's Advocate," "Gigli," "Two for the Money," "Merchant of Venice," etc.
I don't understand how you can say that the film is uneven but whatever I'm not about to get into a flame war with you. I loved it and am not so much bothered by Vinnie Jones as you are.

Great film and Vinnie did a sound job.
This was such an awesome movie. I love Asano, and his story was great.
Hmm. Looks interesting. What is the movie about? Someone clue me in.
