After almost four years of mastering and remastering, Synapse Films has finally announced the Blu-ray relese of Dario Argento's

Suspiria

. As of now, however, they only have a pre-order for their Limited Edition Steelbook available and there is NO OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE. This run is limited to 6000 units, so it's probably going to go fast. In fact, they probably just sold out as I was writing this.

In case they didn't, you can preorder yours from the Synapse website if you want it shipped within the United States. International buyers are being told to contact the folks over at DiabolikDVD.com.

Limited edition contents will include:
  • Exclusive Steelbook packaging and collector's o-card sleeve, featuring artwork from Malleus, Van Orton Design, Juan José Saldarriaga & Chris MacGibbon
  • Three disc [Two Blu-rays + One CD] limited collector’s edition (only 6000 units) containing a new 4K restoration of the original uncut, uncensored Italian 35mm camera negative exclusively done by Synapse Films, with color correction supervised and approved by Director of Photography, Luciano Tovoli
