Does it seem like the artwork on the front cover is INCREDIBLY off center to anyone else?

This movie was awful.
I LOVED this movie. definitely getting it on blu-ray.
Haven't seen this, but heard it was good... I might check it out on regular DVD. I haven't quite been persuaded to make the switch to Blu Ray yet.
This was a great film. I couldn't shake the thought all throughout watching it that he sounds like a singing Captain Jack Sparrow, though.
My boyfriend didn't see it, so perhaps I will add it to our NetFlix.

He's off center to help emphasize the picture of his wife and daughter in the background.
This looks no different to the UK Warner disc. I'll likely get that instead.

Awesome movie. perfect for Depp and Bonham-Carter...plus Tim Burton was the perfect director to do this, so his style. Excellent score and photography! I already own the DVD (and I'm happy wth it) so I won't buy the Blu-ray...they're still too expensive!
I want to see the movie, but I never got the chance to see it. Looked really good. I'm sure they're releasing it in October 'cause they want movies like this to come out right before Halloween.
I was ready to break for the DVD but now I'll hold off for this but dammit, why so far away?
kinda late news here, that cover has been going around for some time now, its still has the best cover art, they kept the theatrical art. Great!
Glad they went with that box art! Wonder if it will have that cool slip cover aswell.
YES! I almost imported this about 10 different times, but I was hoping they'd announce this sometime soon. This is a flick that really deserves to be seen in HD. Too bad they couldn't have released it during the summer. My fall budget is getting more bloated by the day.
Just curious about something folks.
This movie, like a few others (Starship Troopers come to mind) have been released on Blu-ray here in Australia months ago.
Why would this be?

Sweeney Todd and Beowulf outside the US are distributed by Warner
In US they are distributed by Paramount, which is catching up on bringing their titles both catalog and new releases to BD, after switching back, so yeah that's why the timing are different

It's funny, in Australia they're already selling the DVD version for $12. It's amazing they think anybody well shell out $40 for a something that people wont buy for $12.

Why would this be?Sometimes we get lucky! Not always....
Unfortunatly us Australians do get the bad end of the stick quite a few times when it comes to releases...
