The studio basically said "Let's spend hundreds of millions of dollars to make a live action Ninja Turtles movie... then make the blu ray cover as cartooney as possible."

well the 3D blu-ray has the theatrical poster as the cover. and the other two versions are just the same but with a new background. so least for once, they actually used the theatrical outside of theaters!!

Totally agreed...it was a fun, consumable movie, but it didn't seem cartooney throughout. The covers look like a parody.
This movie is great and the 3D is just incredible. So 3D it is for me
